    In !Setup.txt you will see these 2 parts DBAddr=255.255.255.255 DBPort=6000 you can either change the dbport from 6000 to another random number but if you do, make sure you change it in dbsrc.ini under setup/serverport. Or the best option is to change the ip to 127.0.0.1, this does not need...

    You can't log in through that port, the default port is 7000. port 6000 is for gameserver/dbserver.

    If the screen is all multicoloured then you must be using 1.4 client, the 1.9 emulator uses 1.9 client-obviously.

    Indeo codec is what windows uses to be able to play movie files which is the format mir3 movie files are in. If your codec has been corrupted it will make it near impossible for you to get ingame. It will be on google i cba to search for it :P It might not be the codec, its just a possibility :)
