    They were tested with the 1.4 and the sqlmir b3 (1.8?), both worked fine, with no faults. tested only with 2 people me and my bros lan pc.

    The Gates work fine. Loginserver works ok, not coded chgpass and new account yet. DBServer works ok, new char function not working completely, but is easily fixed. mainly the gameserver thats messed up, the dbserver messages dont get decoded properly i dont think so it doesnt load up any char...

    You can't just learn this stuff, the simple fact is NO noob is ever gonna get this source to work - the end! C++ is not something you learn in a week, and this source is not simple even for those who know c++ well, otherrwise everyone would have a working version...

    Why not alter the source, to make your own server? eg, you could in effect rip out all the encryption and create your own then make a simpler server to be compatable with it :) Also make the client read the new euro wil files rather than 1.4 wils

    Make sure its setup right in ODBC, and i think on mines i have it as local in lowercase, that probably won't make a difference though.

    Windows socket error: (10048), on API ''bind'' means you have a program already connected to the socket, so m2server cant connect to it, check what ports your other programs are using and stop them or change the ports your m2server uses.

    All the skills work in the m2server I tested them to make sure :P the mir.exe wasnt tested much, i assumed it would work ok, guess not :P Its true the files have been around a while, but not in english, and not this version from ftsm :P they were encrypted before and all korean.

    K had a look in game, looks like spirit set, compared stats in the db, exactly same as spirit set, so it must be for the spirit set :)

    I reckon its just a trial M2Server, I don't think it even reads the Reg bit in the ini file, there is no reference to it in the M2Server and from looking at screenshots of the M2Server running it has a different title, showing a few details.
