1.4 server files compared to 1.9 emu files.

why do people still dont like creating a 1.9 emu server? the files are the same, easy to use, and have so much more added features... how come people are making more and more 1.4 server then 1.9?

please tell me.

1.4 has a different feel to 1.9 i prefer 1.4 even tho its pretty basic now adays but alot more bugs on 1.9

I also find, for some unknown reason that I can't connect to 1.9 server via 1.9 client with the server running on my machine and the 1.9 client within VMWare on the same machine. But with 1.4 I can?

most 1.9 servers have alot of chinese in it still and the sticky feet bug, i know theres tonnes more stuff in the files but some ppl prefer 1.4 i still like a good 1.4 server but there isnt many about ppl make servers then give up way to fast.

1.9 may be better but 1.4 is old skool and still pwns :doggy!:

about the chinease, thats due to not being translated fully, not a bug, just people got lazy :P with the sticky feet thing, thats when yout clinet and the server goes out of sync very easy to fix if the server is set up properly :P

Make a guide then you big PIE! :P, a lot of people would find it usefull , and yes the sticky feet buggeh is quite annoying, especially when you are on a wizard, bolting a boss and then get stuck -.-.

Reason most people dont use 1.9 files, it is because they are used to the 1.4. Same you can ask, why dont our grandparents want to use the computer and stuff like that like a fax machine? Because they dont feel good with the new stuff, they prefer to stay with old thingys. Hope you get my point

Exactly people dont like change. When most start with the files they use 1.4, its what people started with and either cba to change or just dont want to.

Someone said 1.9 has more bugs, thats because there's less people working on the bugs. i for 1 love playing the emu especially love crafting on it. i got bored of 1.4 because it didn't have the 1.9 feel and i loved the 1.9 feel

I feel 1.9 is tacky, lacking security, I just feel that way, I feel strange playing it

1.4 has a solid feel (even though it isnt, lol)
