Hows that work? Since when does a game gate send data with information unless she sends some packet and identifies what she receives. :agree:


edit: reguardless thought.. if I was to connect to your gamegate and send trash data it wouldn't kick me off would it? Feel liek doing a quick test? :P

i would probly buy it not 100% sure as private mir peaple dont go to the hassel of making things paid for i think its bad idear in a way do we want this more often paying for releases i would defo use it if it was free and would it be worth wasting time for some 1 to come along and crack it lol im not sure it seems ok though. n1

Nah I already made a simple system its done by a key.. Anyway once I fix something later on today I will start giving it out for the small fee of 10 pounds.. I prefer if we chat about it on msn so I can explain how to use it effectivly etc.

paying to release apps and paying for GUIs? i think its stupid if people are going to pay for things like this you might aswell pay to go and play euro mir where your sure not to get hacked unless your stupid and get conned.

If you suspected someone to be using a macro to repeditly teleport into a certain area such as a leveling room then yes.

Also if people don't want to spend 10 pounds (pocket money) to protect their server then thats their choice.

Also what features? If you're refferring to the kick off of a incorrect client ITS TOTTALY different concept.. yes m2server kicks off old clients but what good will that do?

Ahh the age old Argument of Buy vs Give away - Did the Chinese not spend the time programming the Server+Client?? Are we happy to rip off software companies even if that Shareware program costs also pocket money to buy (not saying you personally). I bought a program I use everyday for "Pocket Money" - well it cost me about $20 at the time and not only does that get updated but it has a support forum, can chat to the programmers on IRC and email them with any problems or suggestions.

What is going to happen next? Server owners start charging people to play? Some servers already do in fact in way of Buying things in game. Many people have released programs on here which also took time to program and they even update them - Koari for example - maybe we should all pay her some money for this as well? What happens if someone buys the program and people still manage to cheat? Do you do refunds for example??

I agree with Xander on this tbh..

Its a one time fee, I guarentee it blocks what is out there currently if some new aged program emerges for the 1.9 client(which won't) and I can't block it then its not my fault.

I've released many programs for free I don't need a lecture. We all pirate software and music and some things just aren't free. If you don't understand why this program can't be given to every one then thats too bad.

Its not that It can't be given away to a selected few.. I need a bit of money and selling something I put my time into is what i'm doing.

Drama is what you're creating, yes I asked for input, but why do you feel its necessary to make up these fairy tail situations. Its not the end of the world because this isn't free.

Of course support is via msn if theres problems and upgrades are included. :brows:

My Point is a rather simple one, Im not making some drama and nor do I personally need AntiCheat (been Mir3 person like). Do we agree you are happy to NOT buy the server files for your Computer, do we also agree you probably have a dodgy copy of WinZip/WinRar and a cracked DbCommander?? You are in need of cash, you programmed something to help server owners out there and want to charge a One off Fee. What methods have you programmed in to Stop one person buying it and releasing this for free for example...All I am saying is I cannot see this taking off, ask for Donations yes to carry on your work by all means though, more people are liable to pay..

thats a good idear maybe donations would work peaple would see your program improving thier server and will most probly donate to you for it and you never know server players may feal satisfied and also donate. you need to think about it abit more i thinks dunno though.

I think i`ll make a program like this and release it for free as i have some free time at work , but this after i finish an other app i am working on...

We are a comunity WTF....if u ever want to sell something make a big app and sell it for 1000 -> 2000 punds or warever not a small anti cheat for 10 bucks...and this for us europeans who try to sustain free servers on their own money....rember FOR FREE !!!
