Hi Team,

Look i know it can't be rushed or anything / don't want it to be a moan thread. But the usercount has dropped completely... this patch needs to hurry up guys, i literally only log on now to chat to the odd mate, because the game has become a bore.

The user count has dropped because the game offers only this: go kill a big boss. The hard part: grinding for lvling feels so boring due to the drop sistem.

Interested to hear peoples thoughts on this? There are still bosses that haven't been killed so I don't believe it to be lack of content?

I know several people who quit because of pvp but I'd say that is a small aspect. The big problem is see now with the game is for me at least the lack of trust that a decent drop will ever drop while grinding for levels after seeing the leacked drop files.

If you are interested what are the chances of getting a drop with probability 1 in 100mil check out some mathematical formulas out on internet related to lottery :)

Problem is not everyone wants to just be killing the big bosses, alot of people i know have left because, unless it's just killing bosses there's nothing else fun to do.(And the bosses, unless it's orc ones i hear aren't really worth killing anyway) Not enough dropping (item to level) unless it's leveling which feels a huge ball ache that's about it. I did enjoy leveling, but everything seems so hard, so much effort for no reward at all.

The mobs don't have enough chance to drop, and i personally dont have the kit/friends online anymore to kill subs etc, not that they're much better. Even looking at IWT's where on ace i used to live every day because it was worth the time, they're just not worth the effort/time anymore, not that i have the kit for my level to kill them lol.

I do want to play, but 99% of people i played with have left, therefor i don't play anymore. It feels impossible to solo, because what once i found the most enjoyable aspect (the grind) has because what feels like a chore.

I/and other's i know want to look forward to something, to feel as if we have a chance each day of something nice dropping ( i mean, even a pring, dragon ring, something..) without having to be in a guild who boss hunts all day everyday.

Think we should all be in kit related to our level, not level 44 taos in serp swords, or 43 wars in corals because nothing drops from mobs >.<

P/s i want nothing but the best for the server, hell i want to play it, and it's annoying me that i can't, but everytime i log in, and run to zt/bdd etc to level but then i think, do i really want to be sitting here for the next 6 hours getting 0.0.0.0.0.1% per mob for absolutely no gain, so i log. :zz

The longer it takes for 2.0 to come in, the more will leave and the harder you'll find it to gain the player base back, which is a shame because i know how much time and effort nemo has been putting into 2.0. :(

It's not so much the lack of content per se, at least from what I've gathered, it's mainly the fact that very few bosses actually drop things of worth for the majority of the playerbase that is left.

Most of these bosses can be killed with minimal amounts of players and have a relatively long respawn timer for their difficulty (although I guess this is mainly due to what they can in theory drop)

As it stands at the moment most of the decent drops are coming from Orc Bosses which for the most part are hunted by 2-3 guilds and are fought over regularly.

With the fact that there are meant to be 200+ new items coming with the 2.0 patch (I'm hoping the majority of these are 40+ items, solely due to the fact we have enough lower level stuff in terms of whats in the databases, it just doesn't really drop). What most other MMOs seem to do when they release a big new content patch is make all of the top tier items from the previous content a lot more available be it through increased drop rate or comparative items that can be earned in different ways.

Now I'm not saying that every warrior should have a DSS going in to this patch but things along the lines of 36 weapons and power rings and equivalents should be a lot more readily available before 2.0 gets released.

I quit 3 weeks or so ago. wish I had quit a month or so before, was hoping for things to change/ enjoyment to kick. maybe the buzz on items dropping, then maybe the buzz of a item upgrading or breaking. Only joy we had was lucking the fate blades, well the 1st one.

Maybe ive grown out of mir who knows.

I haven't played since you practically made Sins useless, and probably wont unless they are put back. I also think the drops are awful, I have killed LOTS of decent boss's and had absolutely nothing of quality from any of them (EC,WT, ES etc etc)
The best item dropped from MANY hours of levelling is a knight brace, hardly enticing me to play really......

I don't know if you read forum PMs but I have sent you one on this very issue a day or two ago, rather keep it to PMs though if you would be kind enough to reply and give me your thoughts when you have time.

EC/WT/ES haven't really been considered decent bosses since the introduction of BDD/PB/PSC and the like, but I agree with the fact most of them drop trash 95% of the time.

Well I don't see why u would want to keep it private unless ur crying because your guild can't kill a boss ;) and want it making easier ha. :P but back on topic I think the update needs to come sooner then expected, because the only reason I am hanging out is because I run a guild ... And enjoy my community of players.

I like grinding in this game more than the competition over bosses. The reasons for me to keep grinding were:

- I need to lvl in order for my skill(s) to be lvl 3;

- I also need lvling so I can use certain skills on mobs to make grinding easier. Skills like: TU, Entrapment or Hallucination, Trap or Repulsion that work on certain mobs at a certain level, so I need to achieve that;

- Keep the leveling over other players to repulse them in PVP;

- The drops I get during grinding, I usually sold them because the market was more active when more items and skills used to drop, and bought the ones I couldn't find.

Practically, what grinding feels like for me now: since I don't have CHM on my lvl 41 warr, I use my lvl 30 wiz to do better cash hunts so I can spend them on leveling; I have no outcome off leveling, as no item or skill dropped off grinding and I couldn't sell anything in TM to regain a part of what I spent. I killed all the way to king's room over and over and I rarely seen a lvl 26 weapon, not to mention items that used to drop on Euro and I didn't see them here (yet).

The boss campers/killers were selling their drops in TM for soloers like me to buy them, so I also had a motivation to gain cash and items in order for me to buy what I needed from others. I can't really buy skills nor items off TM 'cause there are none for sale, feels like the whole market/trading is frozen or stuck; it seems very limited. I find nothing better than the things I already have (Death Gauntlets and so).

Basically, the reason for boredom is: lack of skills and items, weapons suitable for lvl 40+; I feel leveling costs me too much gold and because I don't find drops to sell during my loooong hours of grinding, I can't recover the lost cash.

Read the first couple of posts but couldn't be bothered to read more.
I left the game because as mentioned in the first few posts drops were rubbish. I was running around in such basic gear it was unreal. I had the choice to grind some levels and get higher (which was the most fun at the time) or to camp a boss for 12hours straight to be pk'd every few hours and run back or to kill the boss and get nothing remotely good.

- Leveling was fun until I was into level 35+ and still had level 20 kit.
- Bossing was fun with the aspect of pvping until you killed a fair few to get nothing drop.

Content only suits those who hunt in big groups to gain items, when I played my friends were passed the hardcore playing stage and we did not have a no-life approach like players in Curse10; we did not go running after EvilMir at level 38 or whatever. We would do the odd woomataurus, kingscorp or prajnatemple run. When we would go to something higher like ZumaTaurus and DarkDevil it just didn't seem worth our time or pots.

I killed DarkDevil 4-5 times over the space of few nights. The only drop I remember was something like a EvilSlayerGem or ProtectionGem which is the worst gem and isn't / wasn't even functioning at the time.

Not enough content to do outside of bossing and levelling.

People thought they wanted a Euro server, sad fact is people don't really know what they want. They want a server that has loads of custom things (which yours has) but with all the features and content a new server brings. New caves. Even just reworked caves, same mobs but different map used, is fresh and new.

My personal opinion is, every boss other than collosus/OrcWarLord feels like dirt to kill. Even EvilMir feels like dirt for the effort involved. Not enough benes/sunbundles dropping to make up for no drop (this applies to every single boss ingame, EC, ZT, Mir King, etc) Not enough "semi-trash" items. The current "semi-trash items" you have (black dragon items, zuma items) are only good for wizz/tao/archer, because of the lack of a.speed on them they will never be used on warr or sins. You should have made an entire kit out of these also, not just weapons.

The servers that were truly fun offered people a lot to do at all times. Questing at the moment is just something to take your mind off the grind. Why not make a fun quest? a challenge quest? A do-this-in-X-Time quest. Daily Quests. HIDDEN quests/npc's etc.

Something to keep people logging on every day, is what your server currently lacks. You have an amazing set of files, but almost no real "new" content as it's all based around Euro/Ace.

I'm hoping 2.0 pulls away from Euro Mir greatly and starts offering people things to do every single day. Reward people for logging on every single day (7th day get given a bene or something)

Small incentives changes everything. This is the best advice I can give.

What kori said about daily quests, this would be one thing that would get me and a few others possibly interested. You could even make the dailies give a random reward(potions, exp pills, gold), or even add a new currency that you can spend on gear like on many MMO's. Nothing amazing, but like stuff upto level 30(when 2.0 hits), then when 3.0 hits make it upto 35 and so on(but never the very rare stuff).

Also with the huge exp jump from 44+(From what I have read) it will probably get tedious for the casuals, if you are able to release a big patch every 3-4months, then leveling beyond 44 could be a quicker. Even some of the current content is still hard at people's current levels.
