Drops yes removing the doubling exp I'm not keen on,

All your doing here is giving the hardcore jobless and bigger advantage, you keep pumping out content new items, skills etc for 46-48-50+ or w.e and the people that have work/kids/family etc are still being put off due to they just cannot get the time to level for the skills etc... Keep aiming everything at the hardcore is not a great idea, all that'll happen is ull be left with a server UC of about 40-50, as the people with life's will quit due to never being able to obtain **** all

Can't he just have 2 servers? One as it is, with a few adjustments, and then another for the casuals who want things easier(better drops, higher exp) and more fun for only being able to play a few hours each night :eek:. Even without the content for the higher exp/drops I would much prefer the higher rate type of server with these server files.

My other suggestion is making sabuk wall worth having so people actually fight over it on a more regular basis which will make it fun.

50% off pots and essentials and free teleports to any town would be a start

One as it is, with a few adjustments, and then another for the casuals who want things easier(better drops, higher exp) and more fun for only being able to play a few hours each night :eek:. Even without the content for the higher exp/drops I would much prefer the higher rate type of server with these server files.

I'm not asking for it to be easier, but we're not all 14 anymore with nothing to do but mir, just my opinion as to why so many casual gamers have already quit, aiming new content like skills etc at such a small amount of hardcore players, keep doing this all your going to have is a server full of hardcore players... 50 usercount tops..

Do u bring back to sins flash dash damage 1.5? Want official response from admin no moaning players. Tht just for me information i have to quit or will have chance to play like b4.

If u watch forum was alot threads about this to bring it back. When archers moan about staticshot u bring it back in 1 day now what? And its not only me i bet wars are unhappy too cos they dmg is crap as fk. Im kiling mobs 4 x faster than any war with similar items like me. If i get 43 lvl weap wars would kill 1 mob while i finish 10 and still i want 1.5 dmg cos now its 2 slow for idea being assassin. Now i feel like war with difrent set of skils.

put in the drop files from acem2, you can tweak the rate.(these files now are still a mess)

dont make it easier from 44.. increase exp from some mobs, mystery ship mobs give crap exp for their lvl for example.

Bring back orbs and gem making. (ppl put a lot of work + money + effort into geming kit, as well as breakages)

Put OKs back in his natural home, stick some other boss up where he lives now.

Reduce the amount of archers a tad.

Put back the exp chains from acem2.

Bring back stalls in some capacity workable without any fee and leave TM as is.

Remove junk man and let items sold into shop be bought by others like it should work.

Add Battle Grounds, 2 of each class required for entry +1 random.

Add armour Dye to GS and drop files.

Add ability to name your weapon..in GS mayb.

Fix fox caves, those bloody traps! has any fox items dropped?

increase admission orb and lostmap drops a tad.

add a random hard boss, lords or whatever to province spawn.

add a random sub boss, gives solo players chance of a 40 weap or whatever.

is that BES ingame btw? lol.

People I played with most have left because
server seems aggressively excusively pvp focussed and competing with cheats and people who can code is pointless
the leaked files and security
the leaked files and drops
those most important reasons after that
being level 40 in rubbish kit
hardly ever getting anything drop then seeing complete noobs with better weaps in event
seems there is ever one good place for drops/levelling on the whole server so everyone wanted to be there so you have to fight cheaters and coders hax edits whatever every time
Drop files were a mess, the result has caused great imbalance between those "in the know"(5-10%) and less dedicated players(the other 90%)
Early on experienced players tried the lost ships frozen jinchon to find that these were unfinished no drop files no stats which was discouraging because testing was supposed to have finished.
Solution suggestions
make the last floor before a KR (Mtk.psc.rme. etc) have some mobs which give double exp sometimes or make all of the mobs on that floor 1.2
so that getting there is worth the effort then can go do the boss as well.
take a away the public announcements about OKS you will never force people to go fight for it and not everyone wants pvp.

Servers full of PvPer and greifers, you made the game PvP focused thats not what Mir was about, you balance for PvP not PvE. My wife quit cos she would get greifed on her lvl 20+ wizzy by a lvl 40 char using those stupid anti curse cash shop items, I quit cos the server is boring and pointless, you nerfed my sin, nothing drops and when it does its in such high demand the prices are out of reach for us casual players.

The damage originally should have been 1.2 - there was a bug or input error which made it 1.5 - This is now rectified.

You contradict yourself in your own post by saying you are killing faster than a warrior still... it's working as Sam intended at the minute.

I feel the sin/war class is balanced well at the minute as are the Archers (This opinion from an outside view given I haven't played the archer yet to a respectable level) The classes skills which need buffs/nerfs are the wizards and taoist to bring in line with the other 3.

I'm confused... You are killing mobs 4x faster than any war, but yet you want more damage?

True but now we burn through hp pots 4x faster than a warr. And with the fact flash dash doesn't yellow all the time and does next to no damage when activating the spell it's not worth using currently.

Hi,


A few things i think could help the server as I only play 2/3 hours a day its hard for me to give a intense view, but here goes :-


- Half teleporting cost ( or slightly adjust)
- Fix junk man npc so players can buy from it as I feel a lot of items are lost init due to the TM.
- Remove TM listing fee as paying to list and a commission fee is OTT ( keep commission)
- Increase WGO drops or reduce Wep dura loss slightly
- Increase pot drops in PB
- Adjust below lvl40 skill drops ( i think a lot of these came from easter event and every body should have these skills available keep FF , Rage ect rare)


That's all i can think of right now but like i said i don't play 10-12hrs a day these are things i feel can help players like myself with limited time .

althought I am looking forward to 2.0!

TM is a tad expensive, i sell anything worth less than 40k to the shop cos its not worth it paying the fee and commision, and its too much hassle to shout all day hoping someone wants to buy

I hate to be a broken record but i have moaned about this serveral times on forums- user count has dramaticly dropped due to **** drops. Mobs don't have there own drop files, and the ones that do have **** rates. People are bored of grinding and getting nowhere. The only bosses worth killing are the mega ones,. which lets be honest most people cba with the chew of getting to them. MTK-ZT etc are untouched now due to **** drops. Bullpit has just given me his character as he has had enough, he has done 16hrs a day in Pastbichon for 3months and his best drop is a dragon ring. Can't see game making ti to 2.0 if im completely honest with you, but i do hope I'm wrong

Pre 2.0 Chaos!

Well I know player counts are dropping, but it's still getting 240+ players on which to me is decent, and more may come back with tweaks, but here are a few ideas that may be enticing to the masses!
I know 2.0 is coming out and I do appreciate all the work being put into the server! Possibly some easy(ish) implementations to make the game more diverse in what there is to do!


Boss Drops

I know there is a lot of this that and the other about items, but the main thing is, killing a boss and getting a String as your rare item, my proposal is;

  • Increase rates that benediction oils drop on main (and sub?) bosses
  • Make Wooden Chests worth anything (or remove them from game) - 1-10 GG, you need a minimum of 100-1000 chests for 1k game gold.
-Alternative Rework : Has a chance of giving you a select database of items (all current wooden chests stay as is or removed)
  • Add level 26 weps, ruby/drings & plat rings to be more frequent (gives more chance of added ones dropping too)
  • Increase base gold drops of all bosses to 20k (I like gold piles)

I know this doesn't address the proper issue of high end items, but at present, farming bosses seems lack luster when you could camp IWT for hours and come back with 2-3 benes, when you should be coming back with more goodies!
It's all about motivation to keep farming, Mir is a grind game, but with grind games the player needs to feel rewarded or they do get bored quickly.



Super Bosses

All lower bosses (and upper if you fancy) have a chance of spawning as a super buffed boss (+50%-100%) of their current stats, increased drops but it adds a bit of difficulty to hunts, and to me, more excitement.
(I can solo WT, getting hit by a super would make me insta call my guild = more stuff for whole teams to do)



New Rehased Caves

It may sound stupid, and a lot of people may disagree, but if a rehashed cave was released, slightly altered maps of, say Wooma Temple (entrance is in KR of current WT) with same woomas but different colours, with different names (and higher level e.c.t.) It would still feel like a new cave, as I haven't been there, even if the scenery was very similar.

Not sure how much quicker it is to rehash an old map to creating a new one!


I could think of more but these are all I have while I've been working.
like all MMORPGs people will keep playing if they feel like they are being rewarded with items, make to little rewards they will leave, make too much they will get bored, its about balance of what should be a bit more common and what should be rarer (change it as your player base average level increases)

I've not read every reply so maybe already been mentioned.

Server seems a little boring I have 3 30+ chars I casually level with and I have not had a single rare or socketed item, purely leveling with the occasional sub boss.

Think some random sub bosses around dungeons would be good like et.

I think once gems/refining is in game things will improve, people just need better kit so they can solo some bosses and try new places without getting so bored, with some slightly higher drop rates of 30-40 items the server will be on the right track.

Also I don't think making it easier to level is the answer considering the amount of 43+ about unless you're going to make it higher rate making all lower level equipment fairly useless.

I left because;
- drops are awful. Stuff just doesn't drop often enough.
- exp is to boring amd hard to get.
- things get changed so something decent drops then it gets changed back because it is wrong but the items that dropped don't get removed.
- all the new skills will be too high a level which is almost unattainable by people that work more than 20 hours a week.
- it never bothered me while playing but now it does lol, "melee pvp is always going to be broke" :(
- ninja nerfs.
- calling intended changes bugs instead of admitting you got it wrong.

I do read the forums, but when it gets polluted with constant rage threads and gloat threads, there is only so much I can take, i have read most of this post and..


I was going to post it here but it doesn't really directly address the OP, he wants 2.0 to hurry up, where as this actually suggests ways on how to possibly keep the game interesting prior to this (and possibly after)

but yes, my posts stays the same, any feedback on the ideas would be good =]

I stopped because of bad mouth crowing griefing show off pvp focussed nastiness. This mixed with nothing much dropping the hack the badly thought out drop files Curse immunity and last suppers were the last straw for me.
You were told in that other poll. Not your pvp yes no the better one which clearly showed that most people wanted to play the game not concentrate on pvp.
Stop listening to the loud me me me people and try to find out what the majority want.
