New content isnt going to pump much more fun into this server! there have been way too many negative changes to these files since they were used on AceM2, the same content on ace had us all happily playing and would have kept us playing happily before sam closed AceM2, this server is just not FUN!


the "test server" AceM2 had none of the fun things about it brought over to this server, Turrican was brought into the new team (who by the way does drops) who only ever stayed in safe zone on AceM2 and never played most of the content! it was also this safezone poser that said gold had no value on AceM2 even though Meteor shower sold for 100mil afew weeks before the server closed! which led to the unneeded gold drop nerfs!


i Know AceM2 is gone and people will say "its gone and dead stop bringing it up" but the fact still stands AceM2 was ALOT more fun and none of that came to this new server for what reasons? instead we got a bunch unneeded changes that made us have a "challenge" like putting 50 archers in the ghoul room in BDD! because we all often used to stand in castle Gi safe zone mocking how easy it is to get through that door to get the to content we want to play!


i want to play this 2.0 patch but lets not forget that the rest of the server has been made by the same team! so it may take a month or two for there to be a decent drop change!


Nemo to me seems to have an idea of how to make the content fun but gets ingored! the team needs a new member, one that will make a change and then go "ok ill test this and see if its fun" not what seems to be sams way "ok now chickens one hit everything! ill release that in the next patch and see how its goes" then a few hours later "wtf why are you all raging at me?" -.-


for me this server is too ANTI-fun, all the reasons i played and loved mir myself were killed on Chronicles! Sam seems dismiss things or refuse to look them if 70% of the server isnt saying it aswell, if sam actually played his own server i think it would help him open his eyes to how ****ing boring it is in certain places!

In regards to an earlier post regarding re-hashed caves I have a suggestion.

Replace the current caves with the older style maps and have the new 'wow' maps as 'Ancient' versions, with slightly better exp, harder to kill and slightly better drops. This would include maps such as (OC, Oma natural cave, Dead Mines, ZT, WT, PT and ST). This would help the higher players level at a reasonable rate at the current rate of 43+ where the exp required doubled is quite high. Having 30+ items dropping in these areas rather than the shop kit items in the lower versions.
This will re-introduce the connection paths which the current maps render useless (unless other plans are in place for these entrances?

Ant cave can be moved from where it is now to allow for oma natural cave and moved to Bug Caves LDC in the door on the far right of the map that has never been used for anything. Entrances to these Ancients at a small fee via npc at beginning of cave or a couple of floors deep in the caves...

Add back to the game Prajna Cave at the south of PI and give it a Sub and Main. maybe even make this cave a group only cave with higher exp and harder mobs...

Subs in PSC like Bone General and Mino General in PT added for the casual gamer to hunt down and similar but maybe slightly better drops than ET/EA's.

Balancing - There needs to be an attempt made at balancing classes with an elite team of current players testing different aspects out. I know it's hard to choose this 'elite' team, but I feel this is a pressing issue to most people leaving the game. (the testing needs to be PvE and PvP based).
Removing toggle options on Slaying needs adding also for warriors and books upto level 20 MUST be learnt to progress to your next book.
Tao pets need a good long look into, nearly every tao has spoke their mind on this, there is something wrong that needs fixing.

Manual books - a Mir3 feature, but interesting for higher level books... I'm sure there would be hiccups in coding this but it's just suggestion (spices things up when selling a book without it being read first). Up the rate of the books but have the fee high and chance relatively difficult to translate...

Stalls - I think an area or map called 'Marketplace' could be made within an hour or so and only Stalls can be made on this map to reduce amount of these in SZ, with shops not retaining items over 20 it would be nice to have a designated area to go for this, plus the 'bargain hunters' can have a browse.

Spawns/Invasions - Invasions in PB are not working correctly, all the mobs stand still for some reason... some invasion favour one type of oma also... there needs to be a variety of all kinds here.

Town invasions of local mobs, i'm not talking Zuma Taurus every 3 hours on MW, just normal mobs at intervals throughout the week between reboots with a random 'at your convenience boss spawn to keep people on their feet.

Spawns in all caves of range mobs - the range mobs on this server can hit for miles! This needs a quick look into. Amount of range mobs spawning... this needs reducing.


I'll probably think of more along the way but just a few suggestions.

I will put my 2cents here as well even though i have stopped playing this server for quite a while now.

A. The server lacks the feeling of PROGRESS. Let me explain this with an example:

Lets say you have just 4caves in game (or 4 difficulty tiers of caves) A-B-C-D with A being the easiest and D being the hardest. In every Mmo including most of FUN mir servers at start you hunt cave A solo or in small group and cave B in bigger group.
Mobs/bosses in cave A drop the A-tier items and a low chance of B-tier items and an extremely low chance of C-tier items. Once you get enough items then you move to the next tier of caves with your group or you can now solo those caves and so on. THATS PROGRESS. You actually become stronger and you can hunt better ****.

Here this doesnt apply for 2 reasons:
1)There aren't enough items. I'm not talking about set items like AztecSet SupremeSet HeavenSet blablablabla we have all seen in every single HR server but about actual items. Thats why you keep moaning about drop files instead of the lack of items lvl1-45. Even if the dropfiles were perfect and actually rewarding what did you expect to get? A violet ring? An OSR? And then what?
Would the addition of say an ac1-2 dc0-4 acc+1 brace lvl30 or similar items like that ruin the game balance? If so then sorry but balance is ****.

2)There isnt proper scaling in caves according to items (which is impossible anyway due to lack of items). When guilds are killing the hardest bosses ingame with gaxes and drings then there is something wrong.

B. Why have you made this server a raid server? Mir was about small groups hunting at least the way i played it not about constant full guild hunts and there is a reason for that. Every mmo has guaranteed drops per boss and instances with constant boss uptime. Mir has random drops of say 1/50 bosses will drop something worth hunting, 1-3h respawn rates and these can be contested or dead since its not an instance...

C. I understand keeping the euro feeling. I dont understand why u have kept any anti-fun thing euro had. AFK-lvling spells in 2014? Really? I bet you will make refining 1hr long as well....

Anyway imo you can make 1million changes to bosses and normal mobs dropfiles, change exp or whatever else people suggest here but unless you change the above (which is basicly like changing the whole server) i dont think this will be a server that will be fun for me.

People think they wanted euro... They didn't they wanted the user count and community of euro.

I said something about people working 20+ hours a week struggling before. Let me elaborate on it. I work over 40 hours a week and my spare time (although valuable to me) is used playing games. This game just isn't fun enough for me to use this spare time on. I am bored shitless at work I don't need to be with my hobbies aswell.

1 more reason why I quit;
- gold. It's not used for much other than pots and you need to save loads to buy something that drops so it doesn't need to be so rare.

EDIT - get rid of this drop file system. Atleast from bosses. I did prefer certain mobs having chance to drop certain items but not every mob ingame dropping same items at a chance.

Give every boss boss it's own drop file. I can't imagine this would be that time consuming. There are not countless bosses ingame.

More content is the one thing we DONT NEEED.... their is more than enough content all most guilds touch is bdd zt+mtk lol theirs a hell load of more content than euro.

The problem lies in SKILL BOOKS NO SKILLS DROP.... I wudnt care being 45 in shop kit if I had all my skills, all lvl skills need to drop from all bosses and some subs, as a guideline ppl should have the skil book BEFORE they reach the lvl that way it keeps ppl playing makes them lvl when they know they have a book to use gives motivation, also a lot easier to balance classes when everyone has their skills.

Recall sets, for the love of god recall sets.
So make guild fights competitive again, make soloers competitive again.

Also, please can you consider moving OKS back to where it was. I know it's just one boss mob, but being so easy to get you'd have the whole server there, it started alot of the rivalry and the fights would carry out to ZT/MTK/OK and so on. Mir at its best.

You are remembering the good old days near the end of euro when fights were fun because things were kinda even. Most players had level 3 spells and decent kits. Here now for a few reasons its not even at all. Players without skills players without kit. Thats before you even mention anything else about balance or coding.

I dont think all skills should be available easily. The ones that make huge differences like rage profield ff magic boost curse poisfield barrage dark body shadow step should be as rare as they are until after the patch.

I agree with this, there are alot of caves that lack sub's. Sub's should be put in for those who hunt solo, it should allow the same content as the boss in that cave but at a much lower rate (unless the boss has an uber like a special set of boots or something).

Also the mir3 translating feature was one of my favourites in mir3, it was all well having books drops (the excitement of a rare book) but then having to translate the book to use it was also a challenge. This would keep books rare (like gemming items) but get the books circulating whether it be a manual or a normal book.

Arrow barrage is nowhere near as rare as FF/rage I think their is about 5 of them dropped? and its the strongest spell iv ever seen.

Why should Any spells be rare??? we have all had and used these spells for years on multiple servers the game is just so fkin boring when you only have basic spells why should FF be rare??? wiz NEED IT its essential to fully enjoy your class not just PVP even more for PVE as it gives more AOE lvling options as TS is so weak on here its not even viable to ts bdd.

No one wants to grind bosses for 6 months to get a skill they cud hav learned 5 lvls ago... it just not gunna happen anymore ppl just don't want to do it.

loads of good suggestions in this thread, be nice to see some implemented sooner rather than later

i'm a casual gamer .. few hours a night if i'm lucky (lvl 33 - played about a month)

what i'd like to see;

exp - altho slow for my time, this hasn't been an issue.. i like the double exp at 44 or w/e .. it makes me feel like i can still keep up to the hardcore - +1 for no change

drops - same with everyone else, need increasing slightly.. especially for a random chance off normal mobs because solo'ing is a big part of the game too!

guilds - prob get flamed for this, but i think guilds should be limited to 25-40 ppl .. check the rankings, all top 100 almost in 2-3 of the guilds .. limiting this would create abit more diversity, more fights, better hunts, better community etc etc

quests - these are so boring! and not really worth the reward (some items you get are good, but i'd rather see more exp+gold for the reward) .. make these more fun too .. eg. teleport into a room to kill x mobs in time limit / daily quests etc

TM - take away the price to submit please! keep the commission same / please don't introduce stalls, TM is far better :)

Fun - repeating a few things already said but we need more fun - random town attacks / random sub level bosses on floors / BATTLEGROUNDS! / gem system (i know this is in the works) / WAR perks (sabuk + introduce other walls to attack)

Make Ant Colony a viable lvling area. Atm the mobs hit pretty hard for the exp they give. Make the maps less narrow and open them up so can get decent lures going. Up spawns and exp.x

People I played with most have left because
server seems aggressively excusively pvp focussed and competing with cheats and people who can code is pointless
the leaked files and security
the leaked files and drops
those most important reasons after that
being level 40 in rubbish kit
hardly ever getting anything drop then seeing complete noobs with better weaps in event
seems there is ever one good place for drops/levelling on the whole server so everyone wanted to be there so you have to fight cheaters and coders hax edits whatever every time
Drop files were a mess, the result has caused great imbalance between those "in the know"(5-10%) and less dedicated players(the other 90%)
Early on experienced players tried the lost ships frozen jinchon to find that these were unfinished no drop files no stats which was discouraging because testing was supposed to have finished.
Solution suggestions
make the last floor before a KR (Mtk.psc.rme. etc) have some mobs which give double exp sometimes or make all of the mobs on that floor 1.2
so that getting there is worth the effort then can go do the boss as well.
take a away the public announcements about OKS you will never force people to go fight for it and not everyone wants pvp.

I have had a few friends quit because they felt they where at a huge disadvantage in pvp and basically thought it was pointless to play when 3 players can wipe out a group of 11. lol

Improved drops might help but please do not make the lvling up easier, a variation in levelling places would be nice.
I brought a d sword for a warrior friends a he was getting fed up of his gaxe at lvl 43 lol. ( didn't want him to quit)

Most of the friends I play with are casual as they have jobs/ kids/ family and when we get together in the evenings I make suggestions to hunt bosses ect but I hear. " no pot money" lol
Guess im ok for pot money as I have a miner running on the laptop.

Please do not make getting to the bosses easier with RT's ect. The bigger guilds will just start at boss number 1, kill 7 bosses quickly and repeat. They would send a couple of their high speed players to annoy a guild from killing until back up has arrived.

Maybe make JP and LS drop a lot better so the big guilds can spend time in there while the smaller guilds have fun with weaker bosses.

Skills were always rare its just that euro had been up for years and the p servers where u get everything fast vanish fast.
You dont need FF. I was a wiz with FF so dont tell me I dont know.
Euro didnt balance anything at all, since then almost every server has had 75% wiz and the other classes taking up 25%. Everyone wanted to be a wiz because they leveled faster easier and "owned" easy. Thats not good. Its not balanced at all.
Before FF was introduced wiz would ts, they did here until they could just stand about TUing every thing and you still want it easier.
ON TOPIC
This server isnt fun. Thats the best post I have seen. Lots poeple like the grind thats all they do but they cannot grind here without being attacked or pked more often than not unless they go somewehre really low level. Take the emphasis away from pvp
Those level 40 + skills in euro were never tested or balanced at all ever. Not one pservers ever even looked at those skills until now.

So i guess ill offer my suggestions aswell.

TM.... Get rid of the 10k charge. it stops people putting loads of things in there. NO NO NO TO STALLS

Solo mob drops.... Mobs in PB should be dropping things like Drings occasionally and other items rarer... but mostly, 40 armours. Also places like ZT/Orcs etc.

Boss Drops... I dont mind these to be honest, Benes 1/3 IMO. Lvl 30 weps need increasing just to help people progress, but 40/43 should be very rare.

Levellng.... This is fine IMO.

Books.... Slight increase of these... Also perhaps do a euro and in patch 2.0 add books (non rare ones) into shop upto 30-35

Even without these things i still <3 this server! I just want to keep seeing a good Usercout

lower bosses (EC,BDD bosses,ZT... etc) just need to be adjusted into being *slightly* stronger (lets admit, every boss too easy on here atm) and also into dropping atleast 1 guaranteed bene as well as the buffs to drops you're hopefully going to do, and perhaps chance of 3 total benes per mid-high boss. People love getting bene's. It gives them a reason to just keep on hunting, more bene's, more profit - the rich buy the bene's and the poor sell them. Pretty good economy boost. This will help the "no drops" issue a fair bit as even when the boss doesn't drop f.a, you're at least getting a bene for your time.

My opinion on current "mega" bosses that people do not bother with:

FrozenBoss - Currently not a mega boss drop file, but is very very difficult. This needs to be dropping similar/better to OrcWarLord/Collosus.
Yimoogi - Exact same problem as above, but takes both LostMaps (rare/sought after atm due to vipers being only decent place to level) and effort to kill it as it RandomTeleports with its clone on an annoying map.
EvilMir - Doesn't drop good enough. 30minute run + Dscales, requires pot runs to farm it because doing stage 1-6 is just not worth the dropfile.
LostShipBoss - Far too much effort to get to, doesn't drop good enough.
OrcWarLord - Needs to have a significantly better dropfile than Collosus
OrcCollosus - Fine as it is right now.
JinchonDevil - Too many floors to get to, nobody really bothers. Doesn't drop good enough for the effort either.

Levelling needs to be made easier up to level 40. Start pushing people past 40, lower 44 (don't remove the double exp cap, just lower it a fair bit) requirements and onwards. Make level 49/50 the "hard" place to go.

Start making other caves to level. People getting bored of lvling same places (bdd/vipers/pb)

With bosses sorted now, you can focus your efforts on new content.

+1 to this but also why not remove the need for lost maps and admission orbs? This would make the content more easily accessible.

All your doing here is giving the hardcore jobless and bigger advantage, you keep pumping out content new items, skills etc for 46-48-50+ or w.e and the people that have work/kids/family etc are still being put off due to they just cannot get the time to level for the skills etc... Keep aiming everything at the hardcore is not a great idea, all that'll happen is ull be left with a server UC of about 40-50, as the people with life's will quit due to never being able to obtain **** all

No dont do that. Maybe have more dropping but dont make it easy
Rest of post about bosses. I say Collosus drops much to much and those drops should be Warlord.
The point though is that the whole server drop files need looking at. Turican is supposed to have done them so dont let him anywhere near anything ever again. That is the area that has upset everyone and let teh server down. Sam spent years coding dropfiles look copy pasted in 10 mins.

Haven't read the other 6 pages 100% but two other things i think are important and would make things better-

1)Being able to buy sold items from the junk man & shops (Nemos explained to me why you can't, but with some effort i'm sure you can sort it).
2)Give the rest of the team dedi access so they can fix things when you're away (like you're going away saturday for 2 weeks).
3)Was something else but forgot by the time i came to type it

if its done in an orderly grid formation then whats the prob?

one stall area, and put TM in each town so is global, and thats what you pay the 10k for.

I liked the thing they did on mir 3, If your killing in a floor of a temple, once a certain amount of mobs had been killed on that floor, The Sub boss would spawn close to you, with a shout telling you. Something along this line would be good I think, In places like PT (That currently doesn't have a sub) and PSC/ ZT etc. This would see people going mob killing in the dungeons, to chance its close to them having a sub spawn.
