anyway my new rage skill needs testing by someone as i posted a few pages back, ive redone the crappy code with a all new code, so this needs testing for me.

yer i could of spent time doing other things but thats life, the thing is i like doing this and have no plans in stopping at all.

il get a test exe up later if someone wants to test the new rage skill for me

as i said its a bit crappy at lvl 1 and 2 but lvl 3 is a nice boost on the old rage plus like i said its a total new code

dont get me wrong, im not sayin wot ur doin is totaly pointless, i just feel more time should be spent on bug fixin, rather than addin new stuff, as new stuff has to be tested, meanin u still havnt tested the old stuff, meanin even more work in the long run

i mean its like buyin a new car that has a broken engine, u dont go modifyin it and addin loads of stuff before u fix the engine do u

but its ur time and effort thats bein spent on the files, so its totaly up 2 u how u do things

Did you even read what he said?

A team of good coders would be a great idea imo.

That way they can get a list of bugs, and fix it between them selves, making the process much faster.

And an online server for us all to go on, and test is another great idea.

the idea of the online game is very nice indeed.. will make ppl play on it and there will be the chance of having a damn responce on the bugs it has.. the more play the more bugs will be found..

as for the coding i believe that the files need a lot of work which means that we can't just leave all the work in one persons hands.. this is why i talked about teaming up till now.. i'm not good at coding but i'm surely good enough to understand that if there is 2 persons working at the same thing and if they are syncronized and organized the work will be made in half the time.. this is why a team must be made and must also work on the code we have.. not add new features.. that is something we should leave the last owners to do..

i just believe that if we get the have a set of source files with the same quality and bug freeness of the td files we will surely do a very nice job.. this should be our goal because after that everyone could start working on thier personal code for thier own servers and we will have a load of nice servers out with different things and all with the same free bug base source code..

no it wouldnt.... if he released his source it would put all the servers usin his files in danger.... however if he released all the code for his updates, ppl could easily update these files and custom them to their own use

tbh we need to stay clear from TD's work as he dosnt like high rate server's and he wouldnt even release the code's unless he make's the only people with the updated files have a cap on DC/MC/SC/EXP like with his.

we should not involve TD with this.

Sure i have tested it but i want your feedback on how good it is or how crap it is, i though you know about the rage skill ?

To replace the fake crappy buggy none working rage skill with lame coding done by someone like me after 10 beers lol

So i redid the code and want feedback

One of the skill bugs was rage so hopefully its sorted now

While my head has been up my arse ive fixed quite a few bugs for the people that care;

-purification now works as intended, if your mouse isn't over a person it will cast over you
- blizzard and meteorstrike now hit multiple times depending on skill level and mc (still have to code delay after spells to stop you moving)
- minotaur king and guards magic fixed, they now hurt


and a few more that i can't actually remember.

you could post the code fixes in the bug tracker with all the other fixes found till now.. it would be nice..

you only need to change the mir.ini to your router ip

lifco do u set them up the same as 2.3 with the ip for online as when i set them up like that they freeze or is there an other way of getting them online and my an a m8 wont to mess around with the files see wot we can find out.
