This is my question...coz I'm a newbie, can work 2 servers on 1 computer, offline or online, with the same version, or different versions(1.9 & 2.x)???

With 3 GB memory are very enought in WinXP-SP3, but the problems is what version(s), and how I can do it with client, only to change the name server? Dont appear conflicts between IP protocols ?

You wouldn't be able to have them both offline at a time i don't think unless you do a
[Server 1]
&
[Server 2]

i see Lifco's viewing the thread he should be able to give you a better answer :P

Ripmans right you will need to use a hex editor to change them also if the exes are protected you will also need to unpack them.

Its not a case of just changing the port numbers in the .txt

changing ports is ovviously the base part.. u cant have to services running on the same ports.. also the second client which will need to connect to server number 2 needs to have in server.ini the ports setted.. else use 2 pc's :)

anyhow.. i'm not sure if u gotta hex the gates as lifco says.. maybe changing the value in the txt isn't enough.. i never tried tbh!
