Anyone else getting this? Everyone on Discord seems to have no issues at all but I can't walk a step without bouncing about / springing back or it having a lag meltdown.....

Have you tried restarting your client? if not try restarting your computer and internet. If these dont resolve your issue we will look into this further for you.

Curious, do you have any overclocks on your PC? could be messing with the timers.

Cheers for replying, running everything at stock atm. Going to fire it up on an old laptop see if its my desktops hardware or a network issue. Can't understand it though, manage to run Chrons, Zircon, Marble, Zentaur etc without any trouble from my desktop only having lag issues with this one.

Hi Nyx,

are you still experiencing this? Perhaps send me where you are playing from and your pc specs. Along with character name.

Any other suggestions on this one :) managed to get it working on my laptop although again with issues! But that rules out the 2 step issue being network related and rather hardware or software.

Do you guys have any other suggestions as to what to try?

That looks like latency issues rather than the machine the client is running on.

Got a second machine, same network no issues at all even tried it directly through the same port on the same switch with the same internal wiring.

Feels like an isuse between the hardware or software and client but can't get to the bottom of it, I'm happy on my laptop for now although not ideal hopefulyl once they get some stability in the server they will have chance to revisit this. Weirdly enough I have no issues with my desktop on other Mir 2 servers.

How so? :s
Nvm it was wrong assumption lol.

It's something server side, we've addressed few things that could cause spikes ingame such as Respawns with incorrect coordinates.

That video though is not lag spikes, thats proper lag connection wise from the client end lol.

So you're saying its my desktop PC that's at fault and its not game related?

-bumpors-

Any other suggestions with this? Stripped my rig down, checked everything installed a new HDD and moved the client onto it and still get the same issues. I can't do anything when playing on my desktop 2 step stop, 2 step stop :'( if I can't get it fixed I'll have to stop playing as won't have a spare laptop after this week.

At my wits end with this.

Flashed my BIOS and ensured the newest versions installed

Installed new controllers for the Network adaptor, PCIe lanes and ensured my GPUs driver is up to date.

Flashed my HDD and installed a clean download

Tried playing with my desktop set to the same resolution in both windowed and full screen

Tested with and without FPS cap.

With debug mode on I keep getting displacement messages in the chat bar.

Ran in admin mode, compatibility mode for XP SP 2, 3, Win 7, Win 8 and Win 10. Tried turning off full screen optimisations.

Ran in safe mode with networking and no additional processes in the background.

My error log shows:

[01/10/2018 17:30:16] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at ﺘ쟀첶漉꟧零.譖쇼茖䋓ྷ䴡(Object 퇲讀羍૸覨ᕭᑈ, EventArgs 왐엘뷬쨙繹䞰)

Using afterburner I've underclocked from the stock clock on my GTX 980 Ti

My CPU is not overclocked.

My computer is running as follows:

Mobo - ASUS Maximus Hero VIII
CPU - i7 6700k - 4ghz
RAM - 16gb DDR3
GPU - GTX Strix 980 Ti

Windows 10 (build 17134)
DX 12

I still get horrendous 2 step lag, with bounce back and its totally unplayable. The lag is not network related as I've tested my computer on two different independent networks with the exact same fault. It shouldn't be this difficult to get the game to run correctly, does anyone with an ounce of tech knowledge know what's causing my issue?

Try excluding it from anti virus? Just a guess.

Yeah it's excluded from malwarebytes and windows firewall, router ports are correctly configured.

Just tried removing the GPU and running using the CPUs own GPU processing, same issue.
