I never really lagged on this game to be fair, only time I lagged on MC was the first day or two of the beta but I messaged Sam and he fixed that.

Net is with virgin - not fibre optic, but good enough to play other online games fine with low pings.
Havent got a fire wall on either bro.

Yeah. everything was fine for me up until last week, which seems really strange to me as to why these problems have all of a sudden started happening to me - but in other games im running fine
Start > cmd > "ping bbc.co.uk -t"
Keep it running for 5-10 mins, if it remains stable (16-30ms ballpark figure) then it could be an unknown Mir Chronicles issue & by all means keep posting.... if you get periods of high ping results, then its Virgin Media.

Cheers for the tip blank, ill give it a go when i get in.
IF it is virgin media - is there anything that i can speak to them about fixing it? Like, what would be the cause? throttling of the line or?
in my experience Virgin Media are great when it works but flipping useless when it doesn't due to all there traffic management/throttling, I'd suspect a bodged firmware update to there modem... they'd probably send you a new one unless they have a known fault in the area.

Going to test myself when i get in to be sure, but still.
I was playing late last night and I didn't lag once until I stepped foot in PSC. Quite often on my way around it seemed as if the game needed a few seconds to catch up with me.. Hmm. Very peculiar .
Im getting d/c'd aswell.
Pings fine, had virgin media around this morning, found no issues with the line.
Hour into Mir...d/c'd, 100% server side for me.

I had this funny 2step and lagouts aswell during the event, I'm with virgin media also, I phoned them same day as I was getting the same problems on WoW, they done some **** whilst on the phone to me and haven't had any issues since.

How strange, same isp different issues.
Will be interesting to see what the ping results will be. Will report back in a couple of hours with the results - when works over and done with >.<.
Might be worth noting, i never "DC" as such, its just constant 2step lag which makes it unbearable so i end up logging out haha.
