Yh sure M8, just uploading atm...Neway the thing i was trying to do was change the look of the Log in screen and char select Etc, Coz the servers i have been on dont seem to change that in accordance to the server name ( dont know if accordance is the right word) for example i was making a server call "jungle" so having a server based on a jungle as much as possible.

Having Serve select and log on screen covered with Trees and vine Leave Ect,
Whole Server set in the forsest ( Jungle ) only jungle like mobs
Big Apes ( Gorrilas), Spiders, Frost Tigers ( Tigers jst take the magic away + change colours) if you understand what i mean...
Add the sound effect and u have a new atmosphere lol, alot of work but worth it i would say...

Well another atmosphere would be to make it so when you venture onto a newly created map with mobs with new sounds and new names/stats .. make it part of a quest, so they get the thrill or getting an item or exp out of this. So when you meet this rare elite mini boss it drops the best for like a level10 from a level 5 top notch mini boss. .. just an idea..


And another thing, most people have gotten so used to tele caves that they figure if they die they can just go back.. well thats true but its also kinda gay how you can tele in. But meh, if all servers took it off one would come up and it would be l33t even though it was gay ass hell :P ..

The most visited KR i would say on alot of servers is WT KR.. so revert it completely.. make it so when you walk in its partly forst and stone.. or make it friggin huge.

i think the teleport thing u said is true. most servers tele straight in to kr's so theres no fear of dieing from the mobs befor hand.

Imo you should make an area witch spawns random mobs so you could go in there and theres loads of hens in there and you could go in there and theres loads of Bichon lords in there, but make it so you dont know what is going to be in the cave.

Dunno if it can be done but what about having an area where mob stats change at random ie you may be walking along a path and see an oma hit it once kill it then you walk a little further and there is another oma hit it and find out that its an added defence oma and it take you ages to kill it get something like 3 times the exp of a normal mob as it has taken you longer to kill.. have it so it changes a diffrent stat on the mob for some varity

like i said i dunno if it can be done without bogging down the monsterdb and loads of work
also you could add an item to the drop to corrospond to the added stat ie if its a defence stat add something in there for added defence

soz if you dont get what im on about as i find it hard to explain

i get what ur saying but i dnt think tht would be possible without add like Oma1 Oma2 ect to the DB for all mobs and then do the spawns but yes its possible that way im not sure about any other ways.. seems abit pointless just for an oma :P

just used an oma could be something else just imagine a warrior that goes to wt kr everyday kicks ass on a WT gets there one day finds wt hits it thinks wtf its hit me once and im half dead quick de and get someone to help me. he comes back with a tao and another warrior they kill wait for a while then another spawns hits like a normal wt but has more ac defence so takes longer to kill another spawn and its normal another spawns and its got minus stats really would be funny because people would think hmmm is this going to be a super super scarecrow and kick my but or is it a normal one. only thing is if it was a set spawn rate people would find out and time it so they are there when a weak on is there or when a hard one is there to pick up poor peoples deathdrops when the player dies cause wt has 4 times the strength :p

sounds abit like mystery cave idea to me. never the less its not a bad idea.

yeah its like mystery cave but instead of having standard stats which are the same throughout the cave have random stats.. im sure it would promote teamwork and also the apprahension of " if i click this will it kill me" will come back also i love the idea of mazes one thing could be have 5-6 KR's and and alternate which one has a real boss in there.. so depending which route you take will take you to a diffrent kr which may or may not have a real boss in there (the mobs that arnt the real deal should drop less and have less exp


also make it so that if you want to use a teleport to a diffrent map you need a token which can only be found from mobs on the way to that area ie (using wt kr again) if you want to tele to wt kr you need a wt tele token which can only be found in the drop files of mobs on the way to wtkr as i also belive that tele'ing straight to a kr takes loads of fun out of playing a game but if you have to run there a few times to get a token it would be an advantage to do that rather than sating "tele men have been taken out... you need to walk" you could put it to players that the tele man is staying but you need to hunt and lvl to use it.. also it would mean that mobs that drop the token dont drop in the kr as it would be futile idea

very good idea tbh, but the drop would have 2 be fairly rare for it 2 make a difference. Most people who go 2 wt kr are not there for 5mins norms bout half an hour, and if the drop rate is low then they are going to get alot of tokens, whereas if its to high then they wont get any or only a couple. You would need to find the perfect balance to get it right.

Experimenting is a good idea :D
