I see valid points on both sides.
Curse is there for a reason, to counter luck
Curse/pk points are there to discourage pking, when Mir was a new game i could understand them wanting to discourage pking as there is an invisible line between pking and grief play, Hence pking was given loads of disadvantages such as lowering damage on weapons / making said player a free kill, making them drop the contents of their bag, singling them out with a big red name, and all round making them an outcast and the "bad guy"
Now mir has matured, and the majority of the community with it (with the exception of a few) , i think people look at pkng in a different light, its a huge element of mir which most people enjoy, which makes mir.. well mir.
Should it be rewarded ? probably not, it needs to keep its outcast/criminal aspect.
should pkers be condemned as much as it is? i personally don't think so.
I see curse as an achievement of how many people you've killed, a trophy as you will , and your weapon displays your achievements as a pker.
having to throw this weapon away as it becomes useless seems slightly backwards.
Id like to see curse and luck displayed on your weapon as separates (possibly even rename pk curse perhaps to murder so its not as confusing)
So for example you could have Luck +5, Murder +4 , your weapon could still lose luck when you pk someone or curse via a failed bene, but your Murder would grow with each kill, Thus when you see someone with a Murder + 10 weapon you have a vague idea of how many kills its taken them to achieve it, how naughty they have been, and so intern know to be more weary around them. You would still have all the other disadvantages of being a pker, just the tool of your trade becomes more drenched in the blood of your victims and something to be proud of or perhaps frowned upon.
It would be a substantial change, that i'm sure would receive mixed feelings, so whether it would ever get implemented is another thing, so for now its nothing but an idea.
