Account help

Hello all.

After hours and hours i finally got my ei server up.
Thanx to Demonic's guide and many other ppl.

Now im stuck on making an account. i tried MKaccount from Dragon Net server (hope u dont mind), i changed the ip and server name in the mir3.ini file but the account does not be made.

I tried the account manager from Mir Worlds (hope u dont mind),
changed ip and server name in the mir3.inibut but stil the same problem.

I got the eiacc.zip off the downloads section and have no idea what the guides on about, dont understand it at all.

Can some1 help me plz.

And im usinhg the JoB files btw.

i think that acc maker for the old server ei version and not job you need something like http://www.kaorimir.com/KaoriAMS/KaoriAMS.zip should do it

thank you for that, i probably sound stupid but what do i do with these files. they seem to be all PHP files which i cant run without uploading to a PHP compatible server. And even then will it add user accounts to my ei server or link to some place called KaoriAMS ?

To make a account on your server, do the following:

Open up SQL Manager, open up Database Account. Inside there you will find TBL_Account
put in the follwoing:

FLD_LOGINID username
FLD_Password Password you want to use.
FLD_SECEDE Put a N in here.

Close Sql Manager, now go login your server with what you just created.

Of course if you plan to run a live server for Joe Public, you will need some way of them creating there own account - this is were Kaori Program Comes in, it requires a Web Server with PHP installed.....

To use KaoriAMS, you need to have a webserver (apache or IIS) on or near your sql server. You can install php on windows where your web server is.

you should be able to access index.php first.

once that part is set up. you can edit the 00config.php and 00connString.php to meet your needs. you don't have to know php to do this.

now test stats page and other functions.

backend should be renamed to something difficult to guess, and admin should be password protected.

Oh so the IIS server allows PHP to work, i thort that was just for ASP. Thats cool thanks for that.

And thank you Demonic for letting me know how to make an account, much easier then i thought.

thanks, i dont think il be making it public anytime soon lol i manage to make accounts but none of my GM @ commands work. Oly @flag i think works. Any 1 have any idea why they wont work?

my adminlist has the chars as GM's and i get an event message when i log so i they are deffinitely gms/admins
