Adding Maps

ok iv got 2 maps id like to add what i downloaded of someone (they made it theirself) i need to know a step by step guide on how to add them to my server :P

arnt first step and second step same :P

dont search and find meen the same thing :P

Find your answer by looking through the search results Cant do step 2 without doing step 1

basically in mapinfo you need this layout:

[{Mapnumber} {Map Name} 0]

so for example Bichon is :

[0 BichonProvince 0]

if for example your map is map number F1 then itll be :

[F1 NewProvince 0] Then you can add things after it like 'FIGHT, NORECALL' etc etc.

ok so i put a copy of prajna into my client map folder and my server map folder and iv added:


[5 prajna-island 0] into my map info but wot do i do to get there? because i cant get there and i need a teleporter and i dunno :P

help plz

Try looking at the existing entries in your mapinfo.txt for examples and work out how they work, then try to make some doors for yourself by copying the ones that are already there and changing the bits that need changing (mapname, coords etc)

Thats how I and 99% of the ppl here did it

open it in mapedit and look at the coords yourself? Doesnt REALLY need to be asked ><
