I have no items and cant make or buy them..

i found this with some chinese eiserver exe on the ftp.

Had GM in the txt name so presume it's something to do with gm commands.

I tried to just edit the StrRes file but it didn't work ingame


Edit: How can i stop my client from closing after the WEMADE movie. Sometimes it just goes straight in, other times i can try over 5 times and still nothing.

its a polish site cause nightwolf leeched the client of a polish group that's working on these files

Well that was a nice waste of bandwidth, downloaded the torrent, added the 30meg patch. Erased everthing for the 3rd time (server,client,sql,odbc) and started from scratch....

Result Black screen after GM message as usual.

Could have done that with the little patch from Wolfys and all the crap ive collected so far this week.

Signing out for the w/e, got some chemicals to injest

I dont know where ur going wrong m8

I downloaded the original server files.
over laid wolfs files.
installed sql using video to the letter
odbc the same as video
made an account
got new v 1.4 client.
added the 30 mb patch
added wolfs patch
edited ips and server names etc.

If you pm me ur msn or phone no I will gladly go through every single file and sql entry with u till u have the same as me.

But I cant understand what I see in the txt file

if you have old mir3 server's sql db... it looks like that as well... so it's like

I have server running without errors

i have made a character & pressed startgame button

then I get a error box with msg132 I click ok then it goes to the box saying connecting to server but then it just stops

anybody come across this error if so please let me know how to fix it

Ok....Fueled by insomnia and boredom after a particulary crap nite, tried for the last time and




IT WORKS!




Finaly, re-did the sql once again but with sa login thruout instead of having a different one for each database, same for odbc.

used v1.4 files patched to 1.45 with the 30 meg patch then patched again with the Legend server patch from Wolfs (THATS ALOTTA PATCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111)
Left server name as Legend in !setup.txt but changed passwords for "sa" to suit mine.
Went thru sql tables and changed ktest to Legend and anywhere else it appeared
but, and i think this is what caused me the problem i used !servertable.txt unchanged this time, before i was trying to enter ktest into it and it never looked right after re-encrypting.

Have to say even in its fairly light state its performing alot better than the old servers we had b4. Looks good for the future

Gonna have a siesta from it for the nxt day or so, m8 has persuaded me to tryThe Risk Your Life Open Beta so i'm gonna give it a crack tomoz - oops today >.< Then it looks like i can help out with the translation stuff after.

When i get a chance i'll edit my previous post of what i did to suit, hopefully it'll help anyone else whos having similar probs
