Any chance Wemade or Shanda release an official server?

Do they ever plan on doing so? Has anyone ever contacted them asking them about the last shut down and any future plans?

How would we know? I highly doubt it due to the fact the previous versions didn't last.

I contacted Wemade ages ago after USA went down and had no reply.
They're not interested hosting anywhere now outside the Korea/Chinese area. If they were, they'd have done it by now.

The only reply I ever had from Wemade was back in the early days when the treepath patch came in. That was little more than a "thanks for your interest" type reply.

as far as i know, shanda has released a so-called "international" mir2 server after usamir shut down, but it's totally different from original usa/korea mir.im so surprised that an "international" server has no english website, but just chinese content. see website:http://imir.sdo.com/
about korea mir which im now trying to handle to play, i think it's one of the best mir i ever played despite the language&lag thing. In my opinion, if we let wemade company realize that there are plenty of ppl out korea&china wanna pay and play mir, they surely are gonna open another official server.
P.S. about usamir's shut down ,i heard a rumour that its because shanda was not happy that many chinese players play usamir instead of chinesemir,so shanda put heavy pressure on wemade and forced wemade to shut it down.

it shut down because it wasnt making money. it only had a small user base so I doubt it made any dent in shandas population

Thing is they released a mir3 and a mir2... Both had a very strong player count initially... If they just put out one version of the game it could work. Really their lack of interest in handling it properly and updating it is what killed it... I can't believe some of the newer games they have now... Rubbish! I don't see how those games can have much a difference in their numbers
