aol worst provider?

dunno but im sure aol is better then ntl now, ntl put a limit on now got upgrade to 3mb but only 1gb d/l a day that sucks shame tele west aint in my area other wise i'd be usin the 4mb line -,-and i aint sure about aol but i've heard good and bad things about it i cant even use aol coz it needs a bt line and the wireing around my area needs redoing coz it aint a clean line and bt wont rewire

Its a system update, even if you dont update, eventually they'll do it for you, so, you dont have much choice in it im afraid =)

Most companies are putting caps on things now, its so unfair, they make out it costs them tons, if it did, why would they bother starting the company in the first place....

when we were all 56kers, mocst companies capped, AOL didnt, and i doubt they will cap their broadband.

AOL will introduce a cap eventually its either that or constantly upgrade there lines as files get bigger and people download more and more everyday...

Cappings a good thing imo Once its not too strictly enforced For example NTL simply ask you to cut down But will take action if you persist.

Seriously caps do not affect you unless you download massive ammounts of movies games or music every day

Indeed, Nildram only cap at peak times 5pm - 9pm and thats a 50 gig cap for the month, that rolls over so there may aswell not be one.

ok ill point out whos the fool, they upgrade the lines anyon who was on 1.5 are now on 3mb anyone on 1mb goto 2mb anyone on 512 goto 1mb (i think) i didn't want upgrade to limit (well down grade) it was them not me now whos the fool

AOl are upgrading 576k to 1mb 1mb to 2mb etc so as soon as i heard while i was on 576k i ordered the 1mb and got 2mb for free!

ive tried aol it sucks 3 reasons
1. The ****ty browser n annoying software n sounds
2. Its slow
3. The name America Online well wer in UK so piss off to ya own country
