So just to add some perspective on the 3 damage classes:
**These calculations are an average of 10 attempts for each class at level 40 with their best basic gear (no gems)**
Warrior sacrificing 2 rings and 1 necklace for + 4 Aspeed = 121dps
Assassin with full dc and 8 attack speed (from haste) = 212dps
Archer with full dc and the eqiv of 6 attack speed (from rapid) = 77dps
My take on this:
Warrior has over double the health + ac/amc of an assassin and is doing about half the damage on average which to me seems entirely fair... Do I think warriors will ever get much more than +4 aspeed, I would like to say that the risk in attempting to gem with special stats has a lot more risk.
Assassin, my thoughts on sin (and always have been) is that he is a glass cannon, he should be doing a significant amount more damage than that of a warrior (which he is) but at the same time should be weary of toe to toeing anything... In terms of PVP I foresee Sin being a pain in the arse for Wizzies/Archers/Taoists (specially with swift feet which means hitting a sin will do more damage to the caster than it will to the sin).
Archer, now this thread is about him being OP and if he isn't nerfed then "the game is ruined"... When I compare archer to the other single dps players he is significantly weaker (I was actually surprised by the calculations) but at the same time he has a much lesser risk of even being hit, let alone dying.
