Right so I downloaded the entire game yesterday after double clicking the client around 200 odd times I finally got it to download then.
Yet now when I try to enter the game it keeps saying: "attempting to connect to server" and then keeps counting to 100+.

Do I have to get the autopatcher you posted today, if so what do I do and will it overwrite the 9gb of files? I really feel as this is an awefull lot of hassle.

hey lexie try this change on mir2config file

only change full screen from true to false,, save it then lauch the game

I'm stuck at the gates with it constantly trying to connect to server.

I've reinstalled.
I've got the latest frameswork and direct X
I've got SDK
I've run in windowed mode.

Ready for the next suggestion.

Add exceptions to whatever firewall you are using.

Went into the Client properties and had to enable the client to be run in administrator. This then did a further patch download to the initial one and loaded up correctly when launched.
