Was just wondering about BG as its not it game, are you planning on putting it in? I for one loved this place! Was always a good hunt, good for bosses n drops, good for lower lvl groups to lvl and in general for random's grouping up.

I like and dislike bg good exp and fun till kill multiple bosses. But downside was the amount of bosses and drops ment you could farm there alot. Most server you just needed to make a sin stealth to a boss and skip everything else kinda took the fun out of the game.

In euro I didn't think the drops were all that good.

We spent a hell of a lot of time in there killing many bosses and hardly had anything decent at all.

But it was still good fun. You just need to make sure the drops are not amazing in there otherwise the server will get flooded.

tbh any private server i played with bg:
- it was messy to get the right ppl in your party ( would have been fine if it required x members rather then x of each class)
- it generaly just resulted in the geared ppl making alts to get in

most servers put it in to encourage group hunting, and it quickly turns into a solo zone with loads of alts

How about some sort of points system? Instead of insane drops you could gain points for ever boss you kill with more points gained for streaks. You could then trade the points in for something e.g. access to a boss that has a decent drop file, buffs for your character spend a 1000 points and recieve 10 DC for an hour or bonus exp for a set amount of time, maybe buy a pet to help you level for a certain amount of points. Possibilities are endless.

Should bring in premium dungeon from USA Mir, but not the part where you have to pay ££ for a pass to enter, or even the ancient ruins maps, they were epic

I'd like something like this but not for any form of character boost otherwise it would just be the same people camping everyday.

Cosmetic items would be good though (Wings, hair changes, Armour dyes etc)

Love all these idea's! Your right though it is endless, the point system i really like especially to save and then have a shot at a boss with potential drop, but with that higher lvls could do rub after run, if you did it that way you should only receive points from the boss, which would take time n other people would be going for it. Definitely agree with not having to have 3 of each class, even dropping it to 2 would be alot easier to make up the groups. Guess we will have to see what devs say. Fingers crossed :)

p.s drop files should be diff to norm bosses!!

Well with regards to the camping why not have it so there are multiple instances of the "gauntlet" ? could be either a solo or a group thing. Get teleported in you're up against an oma warrior and it gets progressively harder. There are no item drops and next to no pots. The room is square so no using cheap tricks to kill the bosses.

You have to go as far as you can only getting substantial points at the higher levels. The reward is more the challenge but you can use the points against buffs or cosmetic stuff. Imagine you get through that room that has an OK in it teamed up with the OKS only to be pitted against 3 super RME or something lol.

Personally I like the idea of the Battleground as it was, You still promoted fighting (Multiple routes allowed for more than 1 group in at a time)
Bosses will still be fought over but maybe less so than just the same people sitting there day in day out.

I'm very much against the idea of Instances in general in mir due to the style of PvP in the game.

I agree with you there nothing more satisfying than beating down another guild at DD to get the kill. My idea with this was more a test of skill for PvE. Like I said previously because it wouldn't have the risk of the other bosses it should have instant physical rewards taken out but some other form of reward for it could exist. Not everyone likes PvP some people like killing bosses and the challenge that can come from the PvE aspect of the game.

Battleground was terrible on any server i played. Just a farming area nothing more. id much prefer them to introduce new maps or lunar/hell maps then waste time on battleground.

Unfortunately Mir really isn't that type of game (I don't think any server has made it that type)

If anything I find the satisfaction of fighting over and winning a boss much greater than just killing it.

In reality there is very little skill in PvE on Mir (Bar maybe EM).
