As title.

After you finish the first few quests; There is no direction after that. Whats next?

All surrounding caves are labeled as level 1, which is wrong as they are for much higher levels.

Mobs see you from a mile away, then follow you for two.

There is NO DIRECTION.

Re: Beginning Game is Gargabe

I agree with mob agro it's abit ott and I also don't like how ranged don't get agro if a meele is closer to a mob, easy mode for a wiz/warrior.

agro system needs to be how it was imo.

Also so I believe the lv.1 on the cave means floor 1. (1st level)

I love the new aggro system, Warriors on this server are tanks and the system works really well with that being thier job.

Yeah early game isn't so tanky, but once you're 33+ you start to notice it, then with defiance you are a beast!

Re: Beginning Game is Gargabe

Im not sure what he meant by mob aggro, they seem to chase you like normal GSP files. Its just they can see you from farther away and follow you a little longer is what i noticed. Also I think they are better at pathfinding towards you around corners and such.

Cheers, so it’s easier to lure more mobs I prefer this :D

Re: Beginning Game is Gargabe

I have my settings on the highest resolution for the game and most mobs agro from the edge of the UI which is about 1 or 2 cells difference of my spell range so if you are careful you only get a few lured at once

Re: Beginning Game is Gargabe

The beginning game is very different than I'm use to. (Mir2)

I'm finding an Assassin very different to any other Assassin class I've played before, we're insanely plagued by very low min AC so even hunting in the lowest level caves I can end up taking full damage.

Sub bosses are a total no go, bashing me for 100-150 a hit and hitting faster than what I'm able to regain from potions due to their 2 second cool down.

Mob aggro and spawns in the lower level places are very tough, I'm pulling everything and anything within the screen and they are coming thick and fast. This feeds back into the afore mentioned issue with AC, even with 28 agility they rarely miss and I'm chewing through potions or having to RT if I get more than 3 things attacking me. I'm not sure how this mechanic will work going forward? I'm currently getting quests to kill things that are standard monsters and doing me for 60-100 damage a hit on a very small HP pool (spiders, elephants) I can only imagine as the game progresses it will get increasingly difficult.

Finally everyone else gets an AOE leveling skill pre level 24, Assassins only seem to get single target. Which is fine at lower levels but you can already see since every other class gets AOE leveling skills they are starting to pull ahead (discount to top tier players who use game gold)

Pure solo so far, I'm playing Taoist and it was very slow to begin with and I decided to stay in low lvl areas for cash and books. All I can say is Elite Skills are very strong and I easily got to lvl 30 and I'm currently beasting the crap out of lvl 35 mobs massive aoe trains no problem and I'm seeing a few other classes similar to my lvl doing the same.

Don't know if you have your Elite Skills but just saying :p

My elite skill gives me +7 HP per hit.... Assassins don't get any AOE skills where as every other class does by level 24. Assassins have no way to "mass kill" I have nightmares about two bugbat maggots spawning as I'll not be able to clear them, with a base AC of 1 they also regularly do 15-20 damage a hit :eagerness:
