We have spent 48 hours on our test server balancing spells to what we think will bring a much more stable class balance. We have considered that classes right now may be over/under powered, and although we agree this is normal at lower levels, its defiantly to the extreme for some classes. This was not the plan.

So with that in mind. We have been doing character work overs on all classes, not anything that changes the way you should have to play, or make you crazy strong, but instead make people feel like their character is worth playing in its own way.

I dont want to give to much away, but let me give you some ideas so you can get an idea whats happening.

Examples: Warrior
standard damage has been greatly increased, meaning a warrior wont be hitting 100s, but wont be hitting 1s with his basic fencing skills. This means we have returned slaying and thrusting to what they should be.

Example: Hunter we have added a nice mid AOE leveling spell that is not too powerful, but will help them gather mobs, again this gives us the opportunity to return certain spells back to what they should be used for in game.

Example: wizards are relying hard on Firewall at the moment, this is the case for a high rate, not a low-med. We have adjusted lots in wizards play style to balance this and return them to their normal state.

Example: Taoists on apocalypse loose their role due to 2 other classes having poison, we dont want taos to not be played, so we have made them better at solo play without making them too strong, while also realizing some of their current ways are not making them enjoyable.

Example:Assassins are well balanced, however their utility spells were not right, we have rectified this for a better experience.

There is so much more to make things much better for players, and we will be adding all of this tomorrow after a full day more of testing, so we are fully confident that its really good. We hope this means we leave player balances alone for now. (FYI we have tested at higher levels too, to make sure this wont be needed doing again).

We, just like you guys agree classes were not right.

The Patch notes will cover every little detail of the changes so you are fully aware of what your class should be using and doing.

We hope this will make players all enjoy their classes more, not just the stronger ones.

Still missing a huge flaw in the fact that warrs CANNOT tank. That is the whole point of their build since sins were introduced

Totally agree and remember there is so much more, patch notes will give full info. these are just snippets so you understand the direction we are going.

interesting to see you wrote you think sins are well balanced yet your changes to warriors would imply you might of thought they are/were too strong

Not at all, Sins should be the strongest lower levels, the warrior change is just simply because they are not doing the damage, like no where near.

I’m glad to see that effort you’re putting in and I hope it works out.

any plans to revisit some old caves example: bug cave hits hard and gives low amount of exp, would be good to see an increase exp if possible

the fact that we aren't addressing the ability for most classes to 1 hit wizards is silly.... our hp pool is way too low.. archers warriors and sins can 1 hit u lol crazy its obvious wizards are struggling in this server all u have to do is look at most peoples deaths on the leaderboards most top wizzys dying like 40+ times while other classes barely died 15 times

Make tao better solo plss buff pets have two skelets some spells they have so much support spells but some of us play nigh or like to play solo and yea i love tao but a wizz will do more dmg and have better pets late in the game so tao will be irelevant :(

I agree Taos do need a good bit of love, were a quiet class that atint agressively moaning as much as wars. Thankfully you fixed them a bit in the first patch, to where they were somewhat actually playable.
However Poison / SFB / Skelly are all still garbage really, particularly if ur comparing to wizz/warr/sin. Wizz can bolt kill in 2-3 hits, not normal lol.. 2 wizzs boltin is goodnight. Warrs also can two hit, almost was one hitted earlier. Sins attack speed gonna sleep ya too in bout 2-3 hits.
I'm a tao lvl 27 and I'm wearing a decent kit, so I'm confident enough to say the skills are well lower than the extremely buffed other classes.
SFB doing bout 30 dmg compared to wizzy 100 dmg bolt.
Poison doing 5dmg every few seconds for roughly 40-50 dmg total. Used be able poision kill on euro. And the notourious skele, in pvp and pve is useless due to it's speed and health.

Like I mentioned, you got most popular and aggressive classes making the most noise (warrs and wizzies) so this is extremely worrying that you don't hear from the less popular more passive classes.

By all means delay the update if you need to, just please try get everything looked at both pve and pvp. Dont think with the current imbalance that it was possible to achieve this in 48 hours.

Haven't really seen much of taos, but if were comparing to basics they are a support class. Healing, buffing, poisoning. They have never been a solo level class. Always going to be difficult to level a tao.

Also I should add as you don't hear it enough, you and your team have done a great job. Have been extremely active with the attempts and patches since launch and really deserve a round of applause.

Wizzards should have the lowest hp pool imo , close to sins. Wizzies ability to "tank" was and always will be MS, which needs to be lvl 3 to make the difference. Any wizz with lvl 3 MS yet?

Haven't really seen much of taos, but if were comparing to basics they are a support class. Healing, buffing, poisoning. They have never been a solo level class. Always going to be difficult to level a tao.

I agree to an extent, was well used to how Taos did in pve as a support role.
However they were always able to stand on two legs in pvp, currently they havint a chance with the skills I mentioned on my previous post.

Taos are always the neglected class, while they slot in pretty okish for the support role. Would be nice if they can least be match in pvp, not to mind to actually solo hunt even if it's slow Solo hunting at the moment it's recasting skele more than any other skill.

one thing should be said, the crew responsible for this server are by far the most forthcoming to pple's input of similar high population servers, ones I played and some I followed only on the forum here (like zircon)

of course that doesn't mean everybody's wishes are fulfilled or that pple won't fume at some of the changes, just that the effort is definitely there and I don't mean just this thread but overall, can only wish the guys to continue having infinite patience with us

No idea your Tao skill but I always see them mass killing hard mobs, bandits/ship huge lures.

I know how to play Tao.. can just about mass lure and Poison in these places.. but ur waiting 10 minutes for them all to die lol, in both ship/ bandits and that's really if ur lucky enough to not die before em.
No way is it feedable for a Tao to play like that.. who ever u seen do that was a idiot.

I mass lure poison kill on my Taoist, killing lures of 10-20 mobs in those places in about 2mins. I actually feel Taoist are very good solo and you just need to adapt to the way to efficiently kill. It isn't as fast as other classes, but I feel 25% an hour solo at level 30 is pretty good going for a Taoist.

THeres a lot more clicking and macro play to a tao - ur not gonna level as fast as a sin but u will be clicking a lot more often. Taos are doing okay but we still waiting for pets lvl speed to be upped so we can use our lvl 7 pets.
