Better altenitive to perma bans

No one should have an issue with that as long as they follow the rules of course.

I don't like cheaters to have "chances".
U cheat, u do it at ur own risk = ur account and all other linked accounts perma banned.

I'm not sure how this would benefit any other person than the cheater? most cheaters or exploiters who get banned will just start another char anyway so usercount is usually unaffected. Most server owners don't mind a cheater starting fresh and playing legit unless the cheater has been mouthy and acted like a bellend once caught.
No point easing up on dickheads who deliberately try and **** up a servers rep.

Thing is that 1 cheater can put off lots of ppl and the result is u will have more ppl quitting due to the fact that cheaters can pay to play. And u dont have 10k u/c on here to take that risk.

Strip the chars naked, wearing only a santa hat and leave them in SZ for the rest of the server's life as homage to the sad bastards.

Innocent people will be affected by 1st offence punishment suggestion.

If someone has logged that char unknowing of the cheating they'll also lose their account. Which isn't fair.

Imagine if you were banned for cheating and then all the chars you have levelled were banned in the cross fire?


Perma ban should be the only option.

Once it is known that a player is cheating, investigate how they are doing it then implement a fix/prevention method. Add a detection method to the Anti cheat system; let the Anti cheat automatically perm ban any account that triggers that detection method.

Simple.

There's only so many cheats possible in Mir, why not solve them as they appear?

That's the way i'd approach it.

Love this idea, GM's could make a fenced off cheaters pen with them all wearing dunce hats.

I was once banned on here (lomcn) for cheating.

The cheat was DC/Damage.. apparently

I missed Frozen after that
