Dude. Your backgrounds are good, although very tutorialised, they're aight. But damn you know nothing of colour matching or fonts. Think about it. White contrasts with black. The blues are very light surrounded by black. Therefore the black is going to consume the blue pattern and border and make the font stand out, which is why the font doesn't match.

And it could be something simple like making the inside border white that fixes it. These small attention to detail will make your pieces look alot better.

Aha so i see.

In that case, well done, glad you followed my advice on using tutorials. Now when you feel confident, try not using a tutorial, but what you have learnt from them.

Not a bad piece, didn't notice this before. I quite like it although it's a bit boring, not something you could look at for more than a few mins...

10/10 for orginality.
5/10 altogether.

I'm probably wrong, but isn't orginality how often you see these kind of things now? I mean their all over the place...

Originality means its an original idea, design, or concept. If your following a tutorial, then its someone else work recreated on your machine and isnt the original. If you drew a line in photoshop, then thats original because its your own work.

Originality has nothing to do with how good the picture is, its more to do with how intresting it is.

originality is as steish said i think... as when people first started using the arrows in their work it was original until 10 or so people used it all the time... the piece i have shown is original as not many people post that design
