Build failed

Why is this still ingame? Or why can 100% not be achieved through a bigger investment.

It's just an unnecessary aspect of the game that seriously pisses players off. I'd put a lot of money on there being numerous warriors who have failed to build stormgems and gone on a ragequit bender, (no joke they get angry).

Can you imagine the price of marbles/build materials if 100% was achievable?

The rich would get richer.

Who are these rich? And I'd say most marbles are from noobs farming sub bosses!

I'd say gems like bravery etc who cares let them smash. But storm, accuracy, agility, freezing to have them fail before you even get a chance to throw them at an item is unnecessarily aggravating.

I've said this loads before, I had a storm gem fail to build.. Made me feel sick! They have a chance to break your items just let them build 100% ffs

I would rather the gem fail to upgrade more often than fail to be built or break the item. Someone spends ages saving 10/15 mill making or buying a storm gem and then it goes and breaks their item on top of failing >.<. That's game breaking IMO, I would rage quit no doubt!

Crafting gems and selling them is one way of making money - there's a risk involved in crafting the gem.

I've made around 40 special gems in one go, and only 2 or 3 failed to create. Yeah it's a kick in the nuts when it's a storm gem, because the economy says it's worth more. But such is life.

Sell the materials and buy the ready made gem, if you're worried.

I agree, I think it should be 100% success rate when building the gems. The risk should be down to using the gem, not getting the mats to build the thing.

I attempted to make my first gem last week, had the rune already, bought the ore from TM and the ****er failed - I was expecting it to work fine as wasn't aware it would fail, pain in the arse.

Casual players and those who aren't in a 'top' guild are definitely at a disadvantage here, we struggle to get the mats just for it to fail on the build process. ****.

The mats drop off normal mobs, so 'top' guilds don't have any advantage. if anything, they are worse off if they are boss hunting all the time.

I've made many many many gems,
i source all my materials myself from drops.
I hunt marbles, i hunt ore, i hunt runes.
I do buy adamantine ore because i'm always short of that.

The game would be flooded with even more storm gems = bad
flooded with even more slow gems = bad
more agil = bad
more acc = bad

fine make dc/mc/sc work everytime because that is base kit.
special gems absolutely not.

sounds like people wanting end game kit with less risk tbh.

take the time and build it up slowly.

The point was to discourage mining as a guaranteed earner
to prevent too many added stat items in game
if thats the aim It works
if players gonna rage quit because they cant have an extra stat i think they should prob take anger management classes
and by the looks of some other threads here there are a few other candidates too.
Business opportunity- It would prob work best online people are less inhibited behind a keyboard

I see gem crafting not as a way of reducing the number of gems ingame but a very good means of making money for low levels by collecting ingredients. Nothing's more frustrating than finally getting the stuff for a gem and you can't even use it on an item. I don't mind smashing an item, but smashing the gem seems unnecessary..

Couldn't disagree more! The reason this game always ends up with dead servers is due to there not being enough ways to slow progress, leading to level a gazzillion players with DC 1000 at a speed cap, anything that causes u to have to back and repeat something u have done already (farming mats, or even gear on breaking with gem) helps the longevity of the server, and is in fact the nature of every single RPG game ever, that's why they are the length they are and why people love them! If u are unwilling to sink time and effort into a failed endeavour only to have to repeat the process then may I suggest that something like a moba or RTS game may be more appropriate for your leisure time, thanks :) x

When u fail to buld 3 storm gems in a row, and watch a friend make 6/6 and 6/6 work on items also, then come beck to this thread, with an idea of how frustrating it is. RNG is bullshit for server "longevity".

That would be jealousy.
