It was probably the only thing i liked about usa mir , basically you teleported there from 3f omacave ( i think ) the monsters was like x3 the exp of normal mobs in omacave and hp etc but you was only allowed in there till lvl 30.

There was a yellow/greenish boneelite in there which dropped 26 weps / benes now and again.

I take it you mean the ancient version of most caves that made leveling in the normal caves pointless?

people wanted more leveling area's and this was a good area 22-30 lol.

whats wrong with bc / IC / WT :S, personally after not long leveling in OC lvl 10-20, i wouldn't want to do 22-30 in there aswell.

The exp was too high in the ancient caves compared to elsewhere. I think maybe part of the reason they were added was to offset the advantage gained by people paying and using the PD maps. These had great exp and couldn't be matched anywhere else.

I am not sure I see the point in this? To me this seems sloppy and half arsed content just copy + paste. Would you not rather see new caves with new mobs/different AIs etc?

Personally I wouldn't feel like I was progressing if it seemed like I was levelling in the same place at 25, that I was levelling in at 15.

it was a nice place to go level due to having the level cap meaning even if you are lower lvl the bosses arnt always been killed by someone really overpowerd giving the new comers a chance to get a half nice from for there level range

Ah, so the main reason for implementing these would be to keep higher levels away from lower level bosses?

I suppose they was a bit like the mid and high lvl caves. so yeah it stops higher lvls camping the low lvl bosses . they can get the normal ones anyway so not missing out.

Why waste time half arsing around with something we already have, it's not like your stuck to level at around 20-30 is it?. What dose need sorting out is a hunting cave after PT as PB is ridiculously hard to hunt as a melee.

Ancient caves was a lazy addition to usa mir and made normal caves pointless apart from bosses, why anyone would even suggest adding these is beyond me.

It wasn't a boss thing in these caves it was merely exp based. Higher levels did get in and steal mob in the lower cave, they were just recalled in.
You could stop recall but then a legitimate recall of correct levels would have been prevented too.
