Cant orb wep past +3

Not sure if this was intended but I cannot orb my wep now that it is mc+3 luck5?

It's been a while since this was implemented.

You can't orb/gem past +3 in any stat and items can have a max of +7 stats altogether (not counting slots and luck).

What bothers me tho is why the durability gem isn't working on an sc+3 slot+3 MoralRing, getting the message of Item added to max stats !

Yeh my bro was trying to use a durability gem on parts of his gear but neither of them worked, they been taken out of game but did say the current ones in game will work still.

I think + Dura is still classed as an added stat - Something I believe they are looking into.

So, if you have dura+3 you can't dura Gem, or if you have +4 stats o nthe item (Say mc+3 ac+1) the item then counts dura3 as well making it the max+7 stats.

What I'm not sure about, is if an itwm drops dura+3 but you've repaired a few times so it's now normal dura, if a dura gem will then work, or if the game still see's it as having dura +3? If that makes sense!

I am sure that when my MoralRing was a fresh drop it had + dura on it. Dura shouldn't count as an extra stat when geming for durability only. As I trying to gem it now (its only dura 3/3) ain't working.

A bug that needs fixing. Thx

Regarding the +3 stat cap though, does this count on refines aswell? meaning, can you still refine a weapon passed +3? if so whats the refine cap, or shall i make another thread on this topic?


i know if you have a +3 refined weapon, you cant add gems to increase that stat anymore, witch is fair enough.

But for example if i had a +7 refined weapon, does this mean you cannot add orbs/gems to it? like for speed/slow

regretting buying a MC orb now then I guess ha! ah well!

Refine can still go past +3 I believe Milo said.

I've got an mc+2 and luck 1 Mage staff with 5 body luck an so far 7 benes have failed to add luck. Think the whole adding system is bugged at the mo

Luck is all about chance, even with 5 body luck, it can still take a while to get another luck bene.

My mace took about 8 Benes to get +5 but my WSB i bought at +3 I used 2 benes got 1 curse, used about 8 since and still on +2.

So your ring was +dura then? might it be the case it was +3 or more and that is the reason you can't use the dura gem as its already had +3 dura added to it bring it up to the cap for that stat?

Thats nothing i'm on bene 14 just trying to get my mace to +2 luck, had the same ballache with my dsword as well, took me almost 20 to get that +2!

For the record the Luck calculation on bene's matches official 100%.

I'll have a look at the Dura thing too, I think it may be a DB Setting I have set for them

body luck does not effect benes gems orbs.

i used 40 benes on my L4 fan...all failed. Then it cursed from a bene lol It just comes down to random chance really
