Haven't seen any info about what will/will not be in the cash shop, this is usually a pretty big red flag. Can we get some assurances that there won't be p2w crap available?

Was stated in a thread somewhere, just the standard exp pots etc, nothing game breaking.

We have responded several times :P

at this very second the only thing in gameshop is EXP potions (as we figure this is something players may want at thebegining if anything like me and hate levelin) if we get a chance tonight we will be adding thins like impact drugs and horses, gender change, hair change.

We will never sell items, we will never sell gold, Game shop items are not transferable.

Hope this adds some reassurance.

What % and duration EXP potions are we talking....... in a game where level means a lot and makes a huge difference I would consider EXP potions P2W and potentially game breaking

If the exp pots only gives like 20% or 30% in addition and daily basis, and the mounts doesn’t give additional stats that’s pretty reasonable

and making stuff from gameshop not tradeable is a major set back to the players who wont be donating ? Also i see alot of people like to donate and then sell the bits for gold ingame. So dont really make sense to stop this.

20-30% is quite a big advantage in a game like Mir.

IMO EXP potions are the one thing I would never want to see in the GG store. Puts everyone on a level playing field and stops those with the biggest wallets having the biggest advantage.

Yeah I hate exp potions/stat increases in game shops. Really hope you reconsider having exp pots in there and just keep it cosmetic instead.

If that’s what you guys are planning from day one then am having second thoughts about this server and that’s a shame because I have a lot of respect for Hany and loved his previous servers

This is how it should be close the game shop for the first week, gives everyone an even playing field and if they fudge up in that week no harm done ;p

Then again if the server fudges up in the first week there make no £££

Interesting to see so many people share the feelings on EXP potions.


One of the biggest mistakes servers make are letting people level too quickly meaning that they run out of content and either stop playing or the devs have to rush other content out (Archons anyone?)

Being so vague over such a make or break aspect of the server causes instant red flags.
Starting to sound like Paragon/EE all over again.

- Allowing GG to be sold on the in-game market is P2W. (In conjunction with the following)
- If the options are farm gold for 10/h a day or donate $2 a day for exp potions it's P2W.
- If the guy next to you levels 30% faster than you because he donates $5 a day, thats P2W.
- Any item giving stats, not readily available without GG is P2W.

im looking forward to playing on a server that has alot of people playing but ill be honest if exp potions are in the gameshop then it is p2w already...

having a distinct level advantage over other players because of your £££ input, yes will make you guys money but it will inevitably destroy your playerbase

im already a little put off and i was hyped to play :/

As long as EXP pots are only luxury and not really necessary to level I don't mind much.

I want to support the server by donating £10-20 but I don't want to be FORCED to buy exp pots all the time until my wallet is empty....

every server that's ever graced this forums had EXP pots.... guess every server is p2w??
