Seriously

I'm fairly sure I've mentioned it multiple times during the thread.
The first thing I mentioned when referring to "it feels good" was the making a more Fluid style of play - There is nothing worse for a player than feeling like they are spending time doing nothing; In this case the 2-3 second delay between casting spells.
The second thing I was mentioning was more towards the end goal of as close to perfect balance as possible. The issue with this however is both PvE and PvP rely on using the same system.
Now on one hand we had Wizards who were power housing the entire PvP system with the 2x cast speed (Taos somewhat as well)
Warriors struggled due to a fundamental part of Warrior Gameplay mechanics (TDB) being broken, They were unable to utilize the full power of a DC kit.
GMs decided to drop the cast speed to Euro levels (1x) - This had a negative effect on Gameplay (Players were now going from a very short delay to upwards of 2-3 seconds per cast).
Warriors however had no change made to the speed in which they can attack (A-speed) which appears to be much faster and easier to obtain (With the ability to gem A-speed Items and the gem success rate being very high with no diminishing return)
Now Obviously this caused a the Wizard/Taoist community to be up in arms - Had they added the TDB changes (Along with the removal of autopot suns) and checked what impact that had on the PvP system first then fair enough. Instead we had a Buff to one side and a nerf to all Spell casting.
Due to the complaints from the userbase (All 3 classses be it for or against) they Opted to meet in a middle ground which we can safely say is currently in testing.
Edit: Just so you are aware I play all 3 classes as much as each other not just 1.
