just buy a new graphics card and ull b fine, disable all of the programs running in the background, and u should have 1.2 gig of memory for the game to use (say 1.1 if u listen to music) so i cnt see it beeing a problem.

AMD > Intel. i hope with that being said, your not going to start comparing AMD's £100 CPU's to Intels £900 ones.

i wud rather AMD anyways, the only real difference is that AMD stay cooler for alot longer (somethin like 3x more than intel)

just go to Ebuyer and buy a Geforce 9000+ series graphics card and u wont have any worrys and it should last u another 3-4+ years b4 u will need to buy a new 1, also if ur going to buy a graphics card make sure ur motherboard supports it, like dnt uby a PCI buy a PCI(E), but use CPU-Z to find out :P

First of a AMD 3200+, even though only runs at 2.2Ghz. It runs far faster on a 16bit rate and so is more powerfull than the Intel P4 3.0Ghz chip running on an 8Bit rate and don't get me started on the core 2 duo.

So he wouldn't need to change the chip and secondly its more than likely running on a AM2 system board. Which unless you know somthign I don't!!

Next is, why upgrade from 1.5GB Ram when rcomendations are 1GB. No point in spending useless money on somthing that you don't need.

The only thing he really needs to do is upgrade his G/Card and nothing else.

Cheap as chips really.

@RedDragon, If you want I'll compare cheap AMD chips with Intel. Cause AMD kickass in the technology they use to create there chips, unlike Intels over priced bangers.

go on ot geforce website, look for a 9200 i think it was somethin olike 24 billion pixles and cnt remeber the share rate off the top of my head, thaty should be fine

P.S ill double check it later on tonite for u to make sure :P

http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce9.html got the series 9 website there, the 9800 GX2 but that could be a little bit out of ur pocket :P some of the other like the 9300 GE seem ok so going with that might be a better option for now, compair the prices of some of them and remember to check the textire fill rate as the 9400 is a lower 1

How can you say a card is good by looking at the numbers?
