Cheats on server?

Ok, I suspect someone is using some kind of cheat on my server, I can't prove anything though as I can't get in game on lan....

The reason for my suspicion is that almost daily, there are connections to the gameserver gate that just dont add up to the amount of people online... Like now, its showing 7 connections to gamegate, 6 players online. I am right in thinking that cheats create a 2nd connection to the server for who ever is using them in order to use the cheat? If that is correct, any idea how I can find out what IP is using the cheat without being in game?

No it doesn't multiple the connection. If your going off the crueldragon gate, it doesn't read the users online often enough to keep track. Try going in game /who. Best way to catch a cheater out is @observer - @goto - watch if they auto run. Simples.com

nah not going off crueldragon as that shows the correct numbers, its the rungate thats showing different numbers of connections. As soon as my new router arrives i'll be able to get in game, but atm have to use the crappy d-link one that virgin supplied me with :|

Shouldn't go off gates. As i said go off your in game method. Works wonders and is an exact measurement. It only you gm?
