No. He doesn't have to reply to every thread. There is one issue atm that is giving a problem for everyone and that's the Easter items/event. Not one post in any of the threads (3 I think) that are asking the same question.

If he can't take 30mins to respond to a couple of what he sees as the most important threads/issues then How can he be working on content or the stuff he said he is working on?

I understand this is a hobby but if he wants the support of the community ( which he is obviously getting through the GameShop) he has to be more responsive.

Every one wants their own individual response right now and everyone thinks that their message is the most important one.
No one likes being ignored but expecting a answer from someone who has a real life job, a real life and is doing this as a hobby is unrealistic.
Maybe if everyone of the team logged on every day and posted a message that said
Today I am /reading all the forum/the messages/the bug reports/ doing some coding/ trying to sort out accounts/ banning people(choose one) I may not be able to reply to everybody.
If you saw a message like that would it be enough?

Terraiblen.... its simple things like... posting on forums or updating his website, just acknowledging things....

Hobby or not, he is taking and receiving peoples money so he has a commitment to live up to.(********s or not.)
The team is to small, and sam really needs to think about taking somone on to help out.... or its just gonna go downhill for him(community side).

Sam or the team seem to have PLENTY of time to post messages on facebook....... but dont post on forums or there own website....??

Simple things like the announcement of when they extended the easter event.... did anyone see any word of this on the forums or there website? No.

But it was posted on there facebook page........
not everyone use's FB, and i know alot of people that are anti-FB

Even a simple bulletin on the launcher news block (where the patch notes are) would be super nice and informative

One word sam, delegation :)
find yourself some trustworthy community members to relay any news, and reward them with a subscription to your server as there reward/work for you.
(or somthing like that)

I could be wrong but, Didnt AceM2 have some sort of public buglist thing? where people could see for them selfs whats on the list to be fixxed?

That he makes plenty of money from.
The point is, he's currently losing income due to this, and more.. so we're pretty much the best customer he can have, we're telling him right where the product is failing. The fact this convo is open for everyone is Sam's choice to ignore the private messages.

When you're on mir and I PM you, you're not "living your life". You're on mir, and I'm PMing you. Esp on a 7 user test server. Take your time but PM back. Same with Skype.
And when a thread has "SAM PLEASE ANSWER, RIGHT HERE <<<<<<<<<" written all over it and is 5 pages long and is so old it goes to page 3 of the section and has not had an answer... what are you even doing. I understand being bashed all day can't be nice, but it is a mere reaction to how people are being treated.
Short answer: no.

Agree 100% on this, glad i re-rolled early on tbh
Yes, archer is easily the strongest and easiest class for pvp right now. AB lvl 2 with 60DC can do 350hp in 1 hit, no poison. Imagine 80/100DC. Fireshot is 150+ a hit and with "haste" it's pretty easy to drop someone. Fun class.
Enjoy it until the next nerf. (which will be necessary imho, unless all of the classes get a buff or pvp gets fi..... nevermind)

In relation to Sam and the team not responding to some of you, He has been away (visiting family) and is back in work now, he does not access LOMCN while in work ( and I don't blame him) and when he gets home he is working on the server.
I understand why he does not reply to many of the threads on here, some of you feel you have a right to play Mir, some of you have not grown up from when Mir first came out (the language some of you use is a disgrace)
The general attacks on the Team is also getting out of hand, if you want to help make the server better, go about it in the right way.
There is no need for name calling, report your problem, (the team do read the forum) and it will be added to the list and be sorted in time.

Maybe if so of you show a little respect to the team you will get some in return.

This has to work both ways.

The team has provided the player base with a server to play.
Are working on it in their free time.
Have not really asked for anything in return (yes there is GG)
Some of the abuse they get is crazy and uncalled for.

Treads are replied to when they can but in fairness would you reply to a thread where the OP has been calling you a ****

I understand where you're coming from, and I'm grateful the server was brought to life, I got to chat to alot of people i didnt chat to for a while.

About abuse in threads: I would probably warn or temp ban him and laugh at how serious some people take mir, and then reply to the thread, if the question or suggestion were valid. IF the abuse is constant and comes from multiple ways, I'd wonder if I was doing something wrong myself.

The (personal?) issue here is it's not just forum threads. And the lies aren't really seen as respectful by the community. Reap what you sow and all that.

Almost all of my threads directed towards Sam have been of constructive nature, be it criticism, helpful advice, etc and I have a huge amount of respect for the work Sam does, considering I am also a programmer.

I can fully 100% understand him wanting to avoid forums. It's a plague that Mir players seem to have where they do not grow up beyond the mental age of 12.

However, why should I and others who post helpful, constructive advice, be punished/ignored due to these people? Personally I feel there's not enough Moderation in this section so that when Sam does actually find time to read, he's swamped with hateful posts about him or his server. I notice you've made an effort to help and I appreciate that, but perhaps it's time to lighten sams load a little and get the current Moderators or new Moderators to start strictly managing this part of the forum.

Otherwise I can't see the situation improving at all, which is worrying.

Perhaps if he had his own Forum with his own personal Forum Moderators, things would have been easier from the start.

Tbh mate I think they have given up. How hard is it to check forums and possibly respond from your mobile phone? Not many places in the UK don't have a good signal.

Im completely disheartened by the lack of common decency and lack of response from the team on all subjects. Just because some of the community can't be nice and offer constructive criticism doesn't mean you **** the rest off and not respond to Us. The lack of response is what makes the normally pleasant people not so pleasant. It's not like we are doing this for reward we are trying to help the server as we thought it was good and a prospect for the future.

they have day jobs...

I actually think that a community manager could be the answer.

Some of the posts on here do have valid points, but that quickly gets ruined by pointless comments after regarding Sam.

I think a lot of people on here find it hard to put their point across without getting frustrated (Kori isnt one of them btw).

A community manager would effectively sort through all the **** and compile a list of the things the community is concerned about, minus all the abuse and bs.

That way its clear and concise bullet points that Sam can look through and can take half hour out of an evening to basically say "Im aware of xyz" etc.

Also, a community manager would be able to keep the players in the loop of whats going on, i.e events etc.

The event was extended, which i think it should have been, but how long is it extended for exactly?

Little bits of communication like this, no matter how big or small is vital imo.

Whilst if we all use more than 1 braincell, we're aware that Sam is constantly doing work to do with the server. I'd always prefer him to be working on things server side than replying to posts.

With a CM it would accomplish the best of both worlds. Communication and Development.

I don't dispute this. I have a full time job aswell. 40+ hours week.

You can check the forums while having a dump lol. And mostly you only have to read the actual poster of the threads post.

In order to do what this person does in the video, you need to, every single time the spell is being cast, flick the mouse to the target and then back in the direction you are running - I've tried doing it myself with small success but after 2 or 3 attempts you simply end up running in the opposite direction towards the person, because of how clunky the system is at casting also - it's impossible to correctly guess when the spell is going to cast after 2 or 3 times, which makes me question how the person in this video manages to do with flawless accuracy.

Isn't he just using the minimap to autorun to a specific place whilst keeping the mouse hovered over you and casting?
Not tested it but it seems like it would give the same effect.

Wow never thought of that. But then again I'm no ranged attacker lol.

The text on my phone is tiny until I zoom in and your name looks so similar to Samuel lol I got excited then.

Nope, Can't change direction like this not without being force to walk because you clicked. (Pay attention to when the warrior shows up)

This would be amazing, It would have to be someone with the correct powers from the LOMCN team, so threads/posts could be deleted where necessary. Also hand out infractions etc. Also some one who has a small amount of time to lease with sam, and finally, some one mature, and able to remain impartial.

Not sure if the cast then instant run had been 'fixed' on here but there are times casting a skill and holding right mouse down caused you to 'instant run' after it has cast, as for aiming anyone who plays a FPS needs to have great aim so it's possible.... and the fact he/she DID miss adds to the argument.

This is something that annoys me when people jump and shout cheat/hacker.

this is why i quit look how hard it is for you to hit him cause of shift pvp bad, archer got best target system ingame if i come back i might make archer with HP buff will be impossible for them to die 700+ hp with full rune kit
Archers the best wizz hp 1110 at lvl 30 lol? and its very hard for them to hunt In bdd and PB ... Iv come to the conclusion that archer is the best class look at that war jojo he hits you like once per 30mins? archer hitting you while running lol.
I would make archer and rune it up tbh best class with the current target system war/Sin is ****ed, that auto run glitches like **** if it was mir3 shift system you'd actually of killed him
