Worthing is depressing.
Trust me they will know if you have opened it up

They don't, my brother had his done, you couldn't tell the sticker had been taken off or re-stuck.

If you get it done proper your be fine.

Anywho if your Wii breaks, after you got 15+ chipped games, its EASILY paid for itself, and when you have 200 it doesn't actually matter if Wii breaks. As 200 games would cost over £2k if the games were £10 each.. XD

Me and my bro have over 200 wii games, all working. Along with 100 xbox. All have their own Cases, and covers etc.. worked out 53p a disc, to print, cover and box.

Its very very very esay to tell if a system has been opened ( and I am not talking about any sticker)

Trust me they know
Now if they care or not is a different story

The reason they still repair them is, yes they know it has been opened but cant see any proof that anything has been changed

ARGH!!

I;m burning games, my Wii recognizes them on the Wii menu, but when I press "Start" nothing happens, just black screen and wii freezes. tried burning at x2 speed, x4 speed, tried using only Verbatim DVD-R disks with no luck. All of them do the same (Tried about 4 different games too).

Games my mate lent me that are copies work fine though :S

Link please? :).

He is talking bull. There is no firmware that will unban you from live. It is supposed to be possible to change the Console ID which would stop the ban but that involves a mod chip (And a lot of soldering), two systems and the older Xbox's (Pre Jaspers).

In the long run it would be far far easier (And probably cheaper if you had to pay someone) to just buy a new Arcade and mod the drive again. Although apparently the newer Lite-ons are unmoddable currently so grabbing an older Arcade would be wise.

OoOoOo24, yes you can install any homebrew without an internet connection on the wii. You might need to grab some IOS files that would usually be downloaded during the process (If you Softmod) but they are easy to find on the internet.
