Archer/Assassin make the game fresh.
The Crystal files have these, but it's all about what you want to do with them as nothing is set in stone.

personally id remove the archer until they are balanced correctly, i say this because a lot of servers will just throw in the new class and not bother making it fair. If a server made all 5 classes balanced and fair then fair enough but until then i dont like the archer.

I voted 4 classes without archers. That said, I have only tried the archer out, not played it seriously, like to 30+ levels. I think some server(s) made it into a ranger which speaks for itself.

war, tao, wiz, assa
dont really like archers they seem basic. you shoot arrows with your bow, you shoot arrows with your spells, and that's pretty much it
even war,tao,wiz is fine

Crystal files need the archer class off chronicles imo.
