Consistency when dealing with exploits? server team response please.

Maybe the way Raz comes across is bad but what he is asking is what we need to know.

People that exploit have almost 0 punishment (well up until now, not sure what happened over this exp) which makes the game harder for the non exploiting players.

we need to know so next time we find an exploit and report it we can then exploit for aslong as it remains. And wen the punishment is dished we only get 50% of it taken away ( probably less of you work it out from when EM was exploited ).

A list of who was banned/punished and what for would cut out a lot of the bull/s posts. its clear to all whats gone on and we can get on with the game without the fear some ppl get away with ****.

Playing archeage with itchi. But it's ficking balls he ****ed up and played a NA server from launch so I'm almost on my own. apex just fell apart so ****ed that server off.

I do come and play every now and then but it bores the **** out of my. May give it a proper try wen monk is out.

No it wouldn't.
Not unless the whole story with screen shots evidence and proof were given out as well. I don't think any organisation would ever do that.
It would be far more useful to offer rewards for reporting possible exploits. Don't even have to say what reward would be and work out what's right when the implications of the exploit are tested.

Thats exactly the whole problem with this panic by the staff.
Some thing happened. No staff seems to be able say that they know what happened or who supposedly benefitted from what ever it was.
The staff here pretended exploits didnt happen and have never punished anyone before this.
Now this happens and suddenly people get punished not in a carefully thought out way but swiftly without any time to check anything.
Looks like they take more time over making sure they are right over everything except this.

Its safe to say it was a knee jerk reaction and could have been executed with more precision but Milo has now stated for anyone who thinks they were unduly punished to PM him and he will eventually reply/justify.
Cant really ask for more than that.

Something this hard hitting was needed because we all know a lot of people across many guikds have got off scott free over previous exploits. Its not fair but a line has been drawn. The server team now have the man power to not ignore them or brush them under the carpet but to deal with them head on.

Perhaps now every guild will report then instantly and mir will be a better place.

I still think the method was poorly thought through and people should have been punished in equal exp terms rather than levels but i guess thats for the individuals to take up via pm.

Interesting example, thats what I thought about the Server-Team when i heard about the punishments. Yeah, some deserve a punishment, but why punish some of the 2nd group, when they logged/ TTed before 1 orb was killed? To me it looks like the Server-Team had to feed the community (just look at this thread, people only read Team and start barking/ biting)...

not fighting my corner anymore cba i know i havent gained a thing via any cheat or exploit,i play along side a group of ppl on the cod franchise that some cheat like mofo's i can have those cheats but i refuse them,id be only fooling myself so i refuse to do it,never cheated in any game ive played other than sonic the hedgehog on the mega drive,ive tried contacting gms no reply i then thought screw it get that 350mill back screw them,did around 12% and thought i cba with this anymore so decided im no longer gonna play.

also now being labeled as a cheat by every tom dick and harry in game,i know its just banter from most of them but not for me being wrongly done by and gms cba to check logs like i have said they would see no exp was made.

Some players have been punished for levelling too fast from an exploit.
they did a level in 6 hours. Oh my how seriously game breaking is that?
The rest of the server has gone totally nuts raging about what looks to be a minor matter.
Lots of ppl have levelled far too fast but no one has thrown tantrums over those guys dominating the top 10 of the rankings. Why is this little incident when a few peeps gained some exp a matter for such a big reaction when those other players got away with 0-45 in a day or two?

As ever theres some players who are just better at the game than others
Everyone else gets twisted because they get slapped by them.
Their excuse used to be that the bad guys were tweaked to fk and so fast no one could even see them onscreen(VM tinyxp beast acpi anyone could do it))
That doesnt work here and the casual play for fun/social ppl still get slapped
So hey lets make sure the good players get slapped/forced out of the server so we can potter about being nice.
That would work if there werent ppl making money from the game doing cash deals for items/services and gold.
So there will still be people slapping the casuals because they are making irl dosh

I'm assuming these people were banned and then un-banned? Surely the Christmas tree exploit is the worst case of exploit as it is actually taking £££ away from the server??

The reason most people are acting like they aren't bothered is because they aren't. Most of the people who got incorrectly delevelled have just left they just aren't the type of bellends to make a sing and dance about it. Except for loose, that bltch won't shut the **** up about it.

Its an ongoing investigation I presume.
Fortunately they do not have a little untrustworthy pleb whispering in their ears about that one, so they have the time to investigate it thoroughly without him and his band of inbred "mates" kicking up a fuss.

I'm fairly certain Milo will post the outcome once its been decided. He has said he would like more transparency regarding exploits and punishments, I don't think that includes a name and shame policy but at the very least the community will know that things are being dealt with rather than swept under the carpet.
