I'll put things on another perspective, even though there is probably no need for it as most will have thought about it (I guess).
Say you have a f2p server which you yourself set up so the higher level could basically be a retard and still possess a good advantage over others, and where you sell exp potions to make your customers level faster while filling your pockets. What is the best possible punishment you can give to those who pee out of the bowl? If I was them I would be pretty annoyed at myself for not thinking about this earlier on
, would have had less chance of people actually quitting over a punishment. [and therefore lose any chance of grabbing (more of) their money]
As much as I think the "staff" lads aren't really doing a bad job overall at dealing with us as we are essentially a bunch of grown up children, there will always be a level of corruption when decisions are cash driven. Paradoxically this is a good thing for the players, if there was no cash involved rest assured the server would have lasted a few months, if that (unless the host was born rich and didnt know how to spend his time and had a really huge passion for programming and dealing with customers === not likely).
