I'll put things on another perspective, even though there is probably no need for it as most will have thought about it (I guess).

Say you have a f2p server which you yourself set up so the higher level could basically be a retard and still possess a good advantage over others, and where you sell exp potions to make your customers level faster while filling your pockets. What is the best possible punishment you can give to those who pee out of the bowl? If I was them I would be pretty annoyed at myself for not thinking about this earlier on :devilish:, would have had less chance of people actually quitting over a punishment. [and therefore lose any chance of grabbing (more of) their money]

As much as I think the "staff" lads aren't really doing a bad job overall at dealing with us as we are essentially a bunch of grown up children, there will always be a level of corruption when decisions are cash driven. Paradoxically this is a good thing for the players, if there was no cash involved rest assured the server would have lasted a few months, if that (unless the host was born rich and didnt know how to spend his time and had a really huge passion for programming and dealing with customers === not likely).

If server team think they will make even more money through gamegold from de-levelling 10-12 people who didn't actually exploit anything then they are mistaken. Half of server team haven't even got the decency to respond to private messages.

messaged them all and had no reply whatsoever,no longer playing now but i keep popping on here to see if i get that pm(i wont hold my breath),i didnt spend much on gamegold maybe a few hundred quid in like 4 months, however having end game kit i was buying 20k per week for Hardtorches for boss hunting,so i will save myself that money and maybe treat myself to a prozzy now and then,so really i should say thx :)

its a shame because i really enjoyed playing the game and loved the banter, but i think its a blessing disguise.

I've replied to most PM's now from people who were directly involved, I'll get around to the rest at some point soon. I'm swamped with work at the moment so I don't have much time to deal with community issues. You will get a response though. LooseCannon I replied to you a few days ago and received no reply.

This has ran its course in my opinion. Feel free to continue it over PM with me if you still have issues with the action we've taken but its very very unlikely that we'll reverse it for anyone or any reason.

Cheers,
Milo
