Create a new game..

Why do we re-built mir2 and call it mir2 ? .. why not create a new game and call it somethin else, then we could mass-play it and you could get paypal donations and more users because it wouldn't be illegal

Because we dont have the people good enough with graphics to make new monsters, new bodies, all new maps, new items etc.

Dont know anyone who's made a only private server armour let alone the whole .wil files including the body shapes and every different movement. All spells etc.

If you started up a team with all the coding, couldn't you recruit a graphics designer from another game ? There's a few games like mir 2 that are f2p. They have decent graphics

mir is the best graphical 2d game ive seen, so without converting it to 3d i dont know how u can improve on it.

Anyone play Plainshift before? .. Its a f2p 3d mmorpg.. Its concept is kinda lame if you read it.. but I think using the three heroes concept with a gaming engine like that would be nice..

you change the graphics, and u change the mir feel.

would b easier if u found an opensource 3d mmo, kept the graphics and just coded it to make it play like mir.

or, just make a brand new game from scratch, it would probably be quicker.

A 3d conversion of mir would be good, for many reasons, including a nicely reduced client size.

Still, how would we find sufficiently capable 3d artists?
