I am starting to loose the will to live with my isp tbh, just spoke to um there replacing some pipe crap or summit which means ive been "selected" as a high bandwidth user so im being piped through some bottleneck old **** line of my isp coz of it.

Well that was the last straw, there was Fing and Blinding on that phone to my isp there was solicitors mentioned ombidsman u name well what there gonna do now is give me some feking test account bollox which im spossed to use for the next 2-3 days while they complete this pipe replacement, once they done that all should be ok (or so they say).

No bandwidth limit mentioned when i signed up, oh no, infact i specifically asked if there was any sort of capping or limit to what i can download and i was told infatically NO!

And the cheeky *******s wont refund my money for the last month, u wanna hear summit funny they said to me and i quote "During the month of May u had 271 disconnections and we dont feel that it warrents you having a refund" i mean come on what a load of horse plop that is. On top of that the buggers want to charge me £60 cancellation fee if i wanna change my isp.

And to top the bloody lot all this crap and its me birthday to boot i mean bloody hell what a birthday :dunce:

So the long and short of it is there will be no server till i can get this agrevating bloody annoying problem sorted.

secondly, here comes the boring stuff lol

because of the constant disruption of service and bad quality of the product that you were sold this will apply to you , this info was taken from www.dti.gov.uk, (dept of trade and industry)

goods supplied must be;

1, goods or services supplied have to be of a satisfactory quality
2, fit for purpose
3, and as discribed

If the service is not in accordance to these standards, you are entitled to get a full or partial refund, replacement or repair.

The law treats failure to meet these obligations as breach of contract and consumers would be entitled to seek redress, if necessary through the civil courts.

so basicly because of the constant disruption to service, the fact they mis sold you your broadband product (ie saying its uncapped etc), this beaches number 1,3 of the supply of goods and services act , and also breaks the sale of goods act aswell so if they dont want to give you a refund and place you on the broadband service that you asked for and were contracted to then they are in breach of contract and you can terminate all ties with them with no disconnection fees payable.
it would be best if you phoned consumer direct and they will tell you the same thing, also sent a recorded letter to the isp headoffice, to offcom, and ottelo, stating what has happend, and what your isp have said and who you spoke to at your isp.
they will build a case file against the isp and bt if needed then these companys will be forced to do something, never forget you have rights mate even if you dont think that you can do anything because of the bs they keep feeding you.

Btw , your ISP may have a FUP (Fair Usuage Policy)..My ISP did when i registered for it, only i never noticed until they emaield me saying i am using too much bandwith in peak hours (6pm till 11pm everyday). So maybe you are only effecting others with high bandwith usuage in peak hours?

EDIT:

And Koni, you information is correct (i think). However, if there is a FUP involved, then he cannot do nothing about it apart from leave and move to a differnt ISP. That's the only action that can really be taken by him if his ISP have a Fair Usuage Policy.

Maybe he could threaten he is leaving and they will let him use a much bandwith as he likes in ANY hours?? who knows, ISPs hate losing customers because loss of customers = loss of money ^__^

Well, if i was you, i would threaten to take action, because an ISP cannot advertise as unlimited, and have no FUP & control someone's usuage.

Is you pay around 18-20 quid a month for 2mb, then be careful because there is always a catch (you get limited, as i found out -_-)..But if you pay 25-30 quid for unlimited, it truly is unlimited ^_^

edit : this is ridiculous. the places with 7500exp per mob are packed. any higher than that and they are empty. lvl 90-100 is too hard
also, the lvl 100 warr cave. apparently its packed with good exp per mob. therefore the lvl 99 wizzies will never catch the lvl 100 warrs

that info is 100% correct, trust me on that one as i had to sort a prob out with bt once which got me a refund of a good amount of dosh.
Just remember that you as a consumer have lots and lots of rights when you take out a service, or buy goods, the sale of goods act, and the supply of goods and services act's will make the suppilers or resellers shat them selves, but they will always try to fog you off with "our company policy is this" bs bs bs, etc etc lol, but they can never dodge consumer rights.

the 100 warr lvlin cave m8 , ive noticed 2 war's that have shot up in lvl very very quickly, but that mainly was during the x2 exp event

Ok.
1) Im not complaining about 2x exp.
2) Level 100 warr cave = packed / easy mobs / good exp per mob.
3) Level 90 caves = not so many mobs / harder mobs / poor exp per mob.
4) Level 130 warr's lvling faster than 90 odd wizzies.
5) Not wizz server. Wizzies have m,thunder / f,wall. Warr's have h,moon / l,roar
5) Who cares about 3D?

Anyways. It's far too long for a wizzie to get from 90-100. Taken me 3 days to get 2 lvl's as in fox cave's theres a fair few mobs but crap exp per mob. Level 80 cave's are harder mobs and still poor exp. Level 90 cave's are good exp but much harder mobs. So, imo, at level 90 it's easier for a warr too level as the mobs in 90 cave's cant hurt them as much. Wizzies have to stay at level 60 cave's to get the fastest lvling they can. Which is 10k per mob. So, think about it. It's slow.

i did say , 100 warr cave, x2 exp event, it doesnt bother me lol, i did 15 lvl's during x2 exp event lol, i know u were both on all night and well bloody done for lvlin as much as you did !, whats warr cave like btw cant get in =(

it will just have been event. i worked my ass off all ngith also clipp, and i manage 100 in a day. if i can do that then i am sure warrs lvl 100+ can lvl fast.. even without wars lvlin area
