Help CrystalM2 Help Request.

Hi Guys,

I'm currently following the CrystalM2 guide to setup a local server between friends.
I followed all the steps it provides on the guide, but for some reason it doesn't look like it's completed... or I'm missing something important.

I managed to create a starting point and launch the game and run around, but I cant see any Mobs/Items/NPC's.

Am I missing something ? If so can anyone help me out.

Hi Spl1ff thanks for offering your help, as you can see the second picture there are no guards and i cant seem to enter shops etc.

Normally what it looks like when you login but instantly disconnect.

Can you open the NPC database just so we can see how it looks.

What database are you using?

Did you make it from scratch?

Must have done something 'nonstandard' regarding database (only one map loaded...). Such experimentation is not recommended for someone just learning the ropes.

I would like to learn to be honest, I've been a member from 2019 but never had time set one up. ^^

I think your using a different server.exe for that database
id suggest following the instructions @Jev mentioned to use the latest DB

You can still use an old DB made by @daneo1989

That technical info display is probably because the client was compiled in debug mode? Or is that switched on/off in some setting ini file?

Do you have any GM Commands with this build please ?

turn debug mode off in the client. it doesn't affect anything it's just for information.

would limit fps also, as no need for anything higher than your monitors fps imo.

Thanks for all the help you provided guys

Just one last thing.... When purchasing Amulets or Poisons from the vendor the price drops down to 0 and wont give me any items in my bag, but when I spawn an Amulet using the GM commands the Vendor allows me to purchase additional Amulets.

Am I missing something ?

I tried comparing the Database of a Torch or other items with the Amulets and Poison's but didn't see any difference.
