Darkness Server - What should I do?

Hey there, thankyou for taking the time to read this.

Well basicly Darkness Server at the moment is, well, f%!&ed. Denosis is really badly currupt.

He first off level's his friend (forgot his name - will check logs later) from 36-40 saying it was too help kill off the mobs WeeD spawned (another GM that was kicked for curruptness). But he didn't level anybody else and didn't de-level him after they where all dead.

Now today I check the logs and this is there

I checked Breezer's level and it was 52!

So now there is only me as a GM, and this is where the post really kicks in.

I don't want to steal the files and get a bad reputation, but I want to keep it up so these are my possibility's. (Now do the poll).

so u dont want to get a bad rep using stolen files? but u want to keep a server up with stolen files??

kinda contradicting urself there....

edit: poll didnt show when i first looked i sugest u start from scratch, with untouched files.

Technically yes, but that was purley spam what you just posted and I will get a mod to delete it as it didn't need to be posted, anyway..

It's only my reputation i'm bothered about, that's why i'm posting to see what the public want me to do.

Hmm thats pretty fecked up, i rekon if u start from scratch ull lose alot of players, so i rekon u shud keep it as it is and just delete all the chars that have been altered. :mm: My oppinion on having GM's that u havnt known for a while or dont know then IRL is a bit stupid. Just stick with 2 GM's thats all u need on any server.

It wasn't my server, and still isn't so I didn't get to choose who was GM and who wasn't I was purley just the host.

And I can't really lose players as most left due to curruptness, so a scrap + adding a new update (big 1) seems to be the best option in my opinion.

Im the only one to say scrap the server completely.. ignore that 1% in the scrap the server completely.. i've never played it.. but I think u should update to DYSonline or somethin :P

Scrap it completely. Theres too many half-assed high exp servers already.

Scrap it. Too many corrupt ppl play tht svr, and u'd only get a bad rep for stealing files or something.. (I no u didn't...)
If u still wanna svr, just make ur own m8 Be a lot easier.

Night is a tard so 'Start the server from scratch & totally update the server'
or just make a server of your own as the files where stolen in the first place.

if this were actually the case, then why didnt u speak to him as soon as u knew your account had been accessed, and better still, how did he get access to your account? If this is all true, then ur still not gonna come out of this looking good.

Although the correct course of action would be, (for the host)

1. Make backups
2.Speak to the people responsible for "insert problem"
3. Try adn work out what went wrong and fix it

if it turns out the GM was corrupt get rid of them. But this guy has been leveled, somewhere there was a flaw in ur gming either through bad passwords, releasing your info, or you being corrupt, im not passing a judgement im just telling you what it is.

The server is ****ed now anyway,f or whatever reasons, adn u cant make a decent restart out of the same files, it doenst work, ive been there. My suggestion is, learn from this,

And as a message to slaya, Wether the GM's are corrupt or not, the files dont belong to u, im not being nasty or anything, but they belong to the creators, if they want to use em to host their server somewhere elen then they can, and do whatever they want. You should use those files for yourself, cos it will damage ur rep no matter what + the server is now associated with being "corrupt"
