Well tbh this server's been great when it finally kicked off after the DoS attacks...

but the one thing I don't like is the fact that ITS ALWAYS DARK!

Why??

I think its daytime when I'm deep inside a cave... so I notice it being night more often but I have seen it daytime for a while

Worthing is depressing.
Theres been a post about this before. Due to the higher res you see more on your screen. Torches distance hasnt changed but the screen distance has, if that makes sense to you

LOL just lol
Mizu seems perpetual night. maybe we got polar nights, also hardly recall daylight in bichon, and who has seen dawn and dusk, raise hand. We need that sun/moon icon on the interface.

Yeah the lack of light and torch brightness gives me a headache, it's ok on my work screen but on my 27" screen on iMac it is terrible

on my 27" screen on iMac it is terrible

I had mouse problems on my 17" laptop and now I play on Dell XPS one 27" touch screen in windowed mode and even in 1024x768 it is a tad small, especially difficult to use the minimap.

I love that the client allows me to run couple mir windows simultaneously on the same screen and they almost fit side by side -> I got native res 2560x1440 but for the sake of my eyes I switched one step down to 2048x1152 and don't want to go lower for the sake of the rest of computing on that machines.

I suppose the limit is three clients running simultaneously or is it four?

When I let mir switch the display to full screen 1024x768 it is huge and too blocky (pixelated) with black stripes on sides of the screen. I have been wondering if it were possible for us on big displays to add resolution bigger than 1024x768, say 1600x900 or at least 1280x720, even if the graphics weren't ideal. Then the windowed mode would be bigger but not as big as when currently switching to full screen non-windowed mir.

Perhaps giving us such a choice would be fairly simple technical matter not requiring redoing any graphics?

---------------------
As for light, I don't know the rl hours when it is daylight on mir but I should think it should be set to daylight about 5pm UK time when the 'prime time' starts (?), that is most pple log on, then ~ midnight the night in mir can come, something along those lines. No idea how its set currently.

I dark stripes are only for ATI / Intel video cards. On nVidia you get full screen mir2 :) I play on nvidia gtx 670 with no stripes and no settings, he will doit automatically.

Personally I prefer the stripes lol

Unfortunately due to my multiple screen setup I can't play full screen as the game doesn't have any boundaries. If I get too excited my mouse flies off to the next screen. If I happen to click at the same time it minimises me and I'm fooked lol

If i touch the sides of the screen with mouse it flids out and i have to alt and enter to get it back :/

my comp has integrated Intel 4000HD and GeForce GT 640M and Chronicles is using only Intel gfx it seems and I have it set to auto choice (it might switch to GT video if there is more action on screen), which is Ok by me, feels fast enough and doesn't use as much power.
I set screen res to 1600x900 and that makes mir in window 1024x768 just the right size for playing. Actually I don't remember I got black stripes but IMO that's better than if your picture gets distorted by stretching or it gets cut top and bottom.

I find I don't have trouble with mouse leaving game area but it can be a problem when things get iffy and you panic ^^ I doubt chronicles team could jail mouse inside the window, only solution might be to play mir in vmware and there you can set it so the mouse can't leave except if you press key combo
