Data\ritem.dat not found can not initiate mir2

Hello guys

Ive just finished downloading mir Chronicles with the auto patcher. i then tried running the exe as admin and received the above error.

i click ok and nothing happens.,

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening ?

What version of the patch program did you use?

im not sure it was just the one of the main website

it was from
http://www.mirchronicles.com/download/ChroniclesInstaller.exe

Chronicles does not use and ritem.dat file
Are you sure you are running the right files

100% im running the files that was downloaded with the patcher from the main site :S

is there a new exe or something ?

No there is not
try delete the mir.exe and run the patch program again

Chronicles never used ritem.dat only Ruby Servers do (and official Wemade)

Its now working

i had already tried just deleting the exe and that didn't work.

i just deleted all files apart from the folders and re ran the installer...... its now working and i'm pending account activation

You should have an email, it might be in your spam/junk folder
