if you liked The Davinci code & Demons & Angels, check out Digital Fortress. Its the best one by him so far imho... Forget Deception Point though, the big plot twist is so easy to spot it ruins the whole book.

Im looking forward to the film but havent got there yet.

I agree, deception point was crap, and Digital fortress was as good as the Da Vinci code.

I was just reading a review of the film (found it from google), and it contained quite a few quotes for genesis. I then looked at the address and it was from christianreviews.com lol =p.

well i not seen film or read the book but from what i understand it isnt that impossible for a man on earth to have children and for those to have children and carry on the family name who cares if jesus had kids (mediums and the like could all be related ) thats my 25 cents worth, i could go on and on but i would just bore you all :P (mums jeho)

Well a heck of a lot of people would care if Jesus had kids, it would strip him of his title as the son of God and would just be another blow against Christianity. A lot of religious people would be dissapointed (some excited) but also many atheists will take up the opportunity to bash and ridicule the largest religion on Earth. :|

*cough* No offence to anyone who is religious but it is the biggest load of bull **** that has ever been invented.

I'm sorry that your whole life is based on a lie, but the reason that people believe in religion is that they don't like the fact that we we're made by random chance, and they want a purpose to life, they also don't want to believe that when you die theres no such thing as an afterlife.

I suppose that some religions have good teachings about life, but religion has caused so many conflicts over the years, and so much suffering - how can a "god" let this happen (i know that someones going to say that he doesnt want to interfere etc, but thats just rediculous).

No i can't prove that God doesn't exists, just like you can't prove that God does exist because there is no way to prove it either way, BUT there is also no way to prove that there isn't a baseball flying around the sun at 3 million miles a second as we don't have telescopes powerful enough - this doesn't mean that we should all go and believe that there is one, but it has the same amount of proof as there is for god - nothing, it's just an idea.

I'm sorry for anyone i've offended, but i can't help seeing people who are wasting their life believing in a lie.

We can see the sun, but we can't see small objects that far away, we can see the sun because of its huge size, we don't get fine detail.

The Bible is just as much an novel as any of Dan Browns books.

Ok..The Bible may have been the first novel ever written, but that is no reason to believe what is said within it.

Religion is only around to give stuopidly gullable people false hope, just like Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy are when you're a kid.

How can you prove that this has all hapenned by chance? Look at how complex things in life are, for example the human body, hell, even just the eye is so utterly complex, surely something or a higher power would've had some part in all of this. Don't hit me with the evolution theory, that still doesn't explain how the Big Bang hapenned, and how complex the universe is.

The Book/film is not based on any part of the Bilbe, Dan Brown has said many times that the book is fiction

The reson the church is so upset by the book/film is because it implies that Jesus was a mortal man who married (Mary Magdelan) and had a daughter with her (this is not in any Bilbe known to man)

Saying that there is 11 years of Jesus life missing (not in any book of the Bible) between the age 11 to 22 (main age a mans body becomes sexually active)
If Jesus was the Son of God and was seen as so by the people of his time and every other part of his life is recorded, what happened within those 11 years that it was not recorded or if it was recorded (everything else was so I fail to understand how 11 years where not) why was it omited from the Bible

yes, they sleeped with Eve, and eve + adam had lots of childrens over the years, also u can see the bible is right because cain (gipsy nation) was cursed by god to travel the land and never to find a home (gipsy are nomads, only ppl who does not have a country), if u look in gipsy traditions, they marry each others in familys like in old times...

If u read bibile very careful and u study it, u will see that even if is written 2000 years old or even more, some details about human life, orining and even future are precissley given.

Also if u read & understand apocalips u wil see that there all profecies were already, 2nd wolrd war, the conquer of europe by turkis, the austro-hungarian empire, the fall of constantinopol, and many more.

Also The Bible condams the churches who changed "the laws", 80% of planet (christian) live in lies of Papality & Chatolic Church, the bible says very clearly that the Chatolic Church is the "Antichrist" also that she will gain political power & will interfir in planet`s globalisation. If u watch TV u can see that all this are happenning, also bible says about wars, dezeeses, hunger, great cataclysms, and look they are happening.

I belive in god because as a human beeen i was born with the concept of god, all ppl are born with this concept, is in our DNA.
I dont belive in religion becasue majority is a fake, that manipulates ppl....atm few ppl realy got o church to "pray" & to "talk with the god", they go just because others go, they are bored there, they sing and think about thair daly problems in churches, God is forgotten......

Look at the Christmas, Easter...all are TV Comercial words atm, when u see Christmas u see presents....u see Christmas Tree, and when easter comes u see Bunnyes and Coloured Eggs....no jesus in there no god...

I dont think at god because he promise me life after death, no no i belive because when i think that there is a creator i feel safe, when i have problems or happy when i managed to do something good.

We all are a generation who was brainwashed, no more god in our souls, no more love, only sex, drugs, violence, bad words...we are ne next soliders who will fight in these wars that are starting all over the planet....

Religion manipulate, i know this, chatolic chruch did this hundrets of years......but god exists and bibile is veritable, for who understand it, u dont need to belive in pope and worship him as ur "papa" in order to be a good christian.

The christianity is about love.....and there is few love in the world....
