lol I hate style engines of any sorts!

This is vista inspirate, it requires absolutely no background resources and it patches your shellpack to replace windows icons and taskbar etc. It's perfectly safe and reversable (via uninstall).

and no you don't need the PoP wallpaper, if that's what you mean lol.

ps - Remember this is a shellpack for Vista Inspirate only. You will need to uninstall this before installing StyleXP, WindowsBlind, TuneUP Windows Changer thingy and so on.

turin, i dont suppose you can use the shell 'arrow' that auron supplied with vista_inspirat can you?

vista seems alot better than blinds. apart from not being able to disable/modify as much.

I won't say for definate if you can or can't m8, but best not edit/replace any of the files in Vista.I pack - it's been pre-optimised for stability/performance/reversability. I'm predisposed to thinking you can't I'm afraid. The transparency etc is run by the GUI engine in Windows Blinds .

There are quite a few shellpacks besides Vista.I around, if I find a good one, I'll post the link for you here; but the Inspirate is the most reliable to date and which doesn't use any resources.

I'll get back to you on that.

heres my desktop, someone else has this BG but i forgot who think its shard, and also TY for the vista pack, its quite nice, apart from some of the file and folder icons they look slightly silly
