I see no downside to this UNLESS you're a nolife who can play 16h+ non-stop, have a multi or pay for chinese farmers. All of you who dislike this idea are most likely not used to resource cap or are morons who downvote something they don't fully understand.

None of this would be necessary if jamie got rid of multis, bug exploiters and paid farming (**** you all who said it can't be proven).

You're welcome to argue it all you like, but we won't be punishing players for playing longer hours.

If you can come up with decent suggestions on how to help the casual player catch up without trivialising the effort players who've played the longest have done, then the suggestions thread welcomes you with open arms.

Thanks for your time and effort

I'll indulge you here.

Multis, although unethical, are permitted. Nothing we can do to stop people doing that, really, nor police it.

People who actively exploited were punished, they just can't see the effects of said punishment. That's all I'll say on that matter ;)

Bots are watched and banned actively, but if people are selling and buying services from people it's honestly almost impossible to police this without ridiculous levels of man hours, even game companies such as Blizzard struggle with this. Reports are however looked into, regardless of what people think or say, and again, said punishments that can't be seen ARE applied to people, and so far, all have gone unnoticed. Whether me giving out this information changes that, I don't know, but hey, that's all the fish you're getting from me for today.

Thanks for your time and effort

I appreciate your willingness to have an open and civil discussion about it, believe me, it's a rarity to have such a decent thread. I'm sorry we couldn't agree on these points.

Are you genuinely being serious ? It can’t be that hard to look at who cashcow for instance is transferring all his gold to ?? Kid hunts all day every day in bc on that chat yet has nothing but a staff to show for it?.

These invisible punishments sound like a cop out tbh man up and just ban obvious offenders and big exploiters.

Honestly, this is just bad policy. If you don't explicitly tell people what happened, rumours of what happened become far worst than fact. Frankly every ban should be used as an example, to warn people against cheating in the future. Appearing to be going lightly on exploiters is the worst thing you can do.

Yeah so handing out punishments without telling peopl is great justice system, not knowing what it is or length of time is very poor.

There is absolutely no reason at all why you should 'hide' what punishments are given out, especially in such a small community. It is also an effective deterrent.

Unless you are hiding something ofcourse.

Lot mir servers is that it's all about level. Those who can "get ahead" at the start are as much as 10 levels higher of than average player. On this server level matters more than anything else. So the higher levels(recruited by SD) obliterate most players of lower levels easily. This is why it matters that something is done to rein in the shared account, bot, levelling serviced chars.
Like ppl say the players are now older busier and play less. It's no fun being level 50 and trying to pvp with level 70s.
