.... I've said it once, I'll say it again, theres nothing wrong with Gimp's hosting, he has temporary problems which will be sorted over time. And as for the DDos attacks what stops them from ddosing the new host that u seem to think he needs?

ToxicBadger is quite right. It is really hard to find a trustworthy reliable host.

Candyman - I doubt you could even block the IP seeing as you still are having trouble using IMG tags...

I will be purchasing a router soon, hopefully that will sort the problem.

thing is tho wats gonna happen until then, n toxic sum ppl can stop/block/reflect the dos attacks

Hey Gimp, i know you got a firewall, but maybe you should try more, if you want i can help find something suitable that detects attacks like these. even though i'm sure you're quite capable of doing it yourself, but might not have free time.

Feel free to find tools which detect DDoS attacks or anything that could help.

Gimp certain firewalls can black dos/flooding but it does cause some lag on servers, but it does stop the server going down all together, just google firewall dos attacks, and you should find a temp solution.

The server will go online when i figure out what to do.

Currently my firewall logs don't show any suspicious activity which could lead me to the DDoSer.

This the firewall i use when Hosting, it blocks Dos attacks and all key loggers etc, plus gives you and up to the sec report on incoming traffic..

Hey Gimp, i searched and found Kaspersky does a good job of blocking. here
i use Kaspersky AV, excellent really.

even though private servers are illegal etc, i doubt anyone talks about warez.
