Dual OS

Because i needed XP i decided to partition my HD with the tool on windows 7 (shrink space) I then setup windows XP on the new partition.
Now my computer automatically boots windows XP and I can not boot windows 7, iv tried F8 any ideas please?

You have your Windows 7 disc? Run that and do the repair any problems option. It'll install the 7 bootloader and add Windows Xp to that.

Yeah cheers milo i managed to find a google post on it that explained the boot gets knackered and it gave me a program to fix it and add XP to the bootup options.

Change the boot priority in BIOS.

That would only work if there was 2x HDD though right? This is a dual boot so both OS on same HDD

nah i got it sorted m8 and yeah i used easy BCD

Yeah exactly, partioning is splitting the HDD into different sections
