All i can say is well done. I have never as far back as i can remember played a server where the first 15 levels felt so fluid & actually enjoyable to do. Especially considering i was questing with 350~ others online at the time.

Usually you spend the first 2 hours auto-attacking mobs for 30s each bored shitless missing 3/4 of your swings. Having to run away from Yetis because they 2 hit you and you cant touch them etc... So props on that, you made it enjoyable.

Only gripe so far is the wolf quest in SV, I sat there for about 2 hours & killed/harversted it 4 times, and still no quest item.

Not sure why you increased exp tho, it was fine, just casually going through some quests i was 15 before the change. Few minutes after reboot and people were 20.

Thank you for the positive feedback.

Currish quest was fixed during the reboot window to drop 100% of the time. Apologies there.

Only to level 22. Then it gets back to where you were, the idea behind this was getting people out of the starting areas and into the world a little quicker. It will slow down again and give players a real sense of enjoyable leveling (hopefully!).

~Re: Early levels & starting quests.

I did try to do quests and did quite a few, however doing all of them clearly wastes time when you are ~lev10+ in that you can do better on other mobs, quest rewards, apart from the mount horse, did not amount to much in terms of items, gold or exp, actually not sure you got any gold from them.

I didn't find a single Tiger Viper, maybe they spawn in some select cul de sac in SV? Also gave up on gold chestnut quest, got two of them only, out of five I think. If I did all quests, focus on them, I think I wouldn't be level 15 now after those few hours, after a while when I would have been sent to kill some of bichon mobs I was already way past bother with them or had better items than the quest reward offered, that's when I started to pass on quests

I started 1am GMT when the server counts slowly dropped from some 250 to 175 when I called it quits, didn't see that many folks around to speak for the huge numbers, most were in starting out area of course.

yes, it felt like I could take on just about any mob, ended up at level 14 to15 in BC which I wouldn't expect doable on your typical server, in SV killed two of those big or giant snakes, forgot their name, like BES but they are not ready I suppose, no drop file (?) and only about half exp of normal snakes, maybe they are quest mobs?

easy start server despite it not being all familiar and needed to be figured out, play warrior btw, maybe other classes have it easier, certainly sins in light armour do way better in BC than wars but that's to be expected

Seems a lot faster to skip the quests and head straight to oma cave :p

Do quests actually help in any way? or do we really need to make them to be able to hunt future content? Or can we just bash the lvl and leave the quests away.

Re: ~Re: Early levels & starting quests.

They are hiding in the grass!

Any more Clues? Iv spent hours, cleared SV multiple times....havent seen one TigerViper, even went to MW to see if they were there instead...nowt

Also, Olivia's ring in OmaCave? 1 in a million drop? and no indication of how many "SkeletonBone"'s are required, a stack is 15, im upto 26 after about 2 hours.......... These are just getting tedious on top of the warrior taking an age to kill stuff

I have just checked and I made a mistake yesterday whilst editing. And turned the count to 1 instead of 100 . I have now edited this and tiger vipers wil spawn again once we reboot!
