ok just set up my 3.55 server (bout 11th try now) and got this error code.

any1 know what it means or how to sort it?

Also got this come up in Setupchecker,

im not 100% but i believe thats your Map file its not loading,,,
is tht the only message your getting?

yeah thats the only message i'm getting on netcheck, don't get any other error messages and it comes up after the sql engine resumed message.

Could someone possibly confirm if the message i'm getting is actually an error or what please. Still got Black screen on log in, disabled direct draw on my graphics card to see if that was affecting it, no joy. Changed colour quality to 16bit rather than 32 bit, stil no joy, still got the black screen.

Considering I have Chinese PRC set across all the language options, none of my ip's are wrong and all the gates are open I have no idea what is going wrong. Any help appreciated.

anyone able to help with this please? really stuck atm. I've been through everything so many times and can't find anything wrong. All language options are set to chinese prc, so that cant be the problem. all maps are identical on client and server, so thats not the problem. I've checked and rechecked all the ip's, can't see anything wrong there. Checked all the configs and they are all as they should be as stated on the LS guide hosted by ida.

Any suggestions please guys.

nope, got it sorted, was summit so stupid and no-one even suggested to check it. I had KillRobot unchecked on the loader! lol checked it and voila black screen gone lmao but now I can't even log in, get as far as here and wont go any further

Was able to log in a min ago, rebooted server to make some changes on the std_items db and now can't get back on.

its fine now. Just need a decent translated stres3g as can't stand the commands and messages in chinese lol.

Also, all the taoist and wizard skills seem bugged. Not sure why but after they been activated once they cause like a 2 step lag and can't use them again. I think it might be the database but not sure

Got all problems fixed now I think, server is running great not bad for a months work

Can any1 tell me how to add CTRL & S to sync to the files and where to do it?

If u are running a 3.55 server, u don't have to do nothing to use Control + S

If you are running a 3.38 i think, there is no chance to use Control + S but u can make a comand like "@jump" to sync.

It doesn't seem to work though, dunno if it is in the stres3g or what but I hit ctrl & S and nothing happens, any1 know where the command is in the files so I can check its there?

Also, how do I advance spells beyond lvl 5?

The CTRL S command is controlled by this window

Header 15 should be ticked and it should say 4 characters in Chinese.

If you have changed it, it won't work. I don't know where to change the other end of the command so change it back to that.

Mine reads, ¿¨Î»×Ô¾È (Which looks different when PRC is installed).




Spells you need to upgrade via NPC

You know you can do it with a GM command?

Some of the magics you will need to refresh your char.. (take an item off and on should do it, or sometimes log out and in)

OK getting this damn Connection Failed error again, got IP's set up as so:

In Account\SelectGateIPS got my net ip.

In HOLLEYDBSVR\Serverinfo.txt got my net ip.

In Regserver\HLregserver.ini got my local ip.

On client pc have the server pc lan ip set in listmake\HL_Mir3g

Can get past the first gate, then get this message now and wont go any further. I really wanna get this server live asap and no point if I cant get in game myself. Also, people are trying to create accounts via the launcher, and after 30 seconds its saying the connection failed? any ideas :S No problems for other people logging in so far.

CAN ANYONE RECCOMEND CHEAP ROUTERS THAT SUPPORT LOOPBACK LOL

Tried disabling loopback, again won't work. I'm guessing I can connect to reg server, but not to login/game gate etc
